Aisling Curtin

Aisling is a Registered Counselling Psychologist and Founding Director of ACT Now Ireland, the largest provider of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) workshops in Ireland. Aisling completed her training as a Counselling Psychologist in Trinity College Dublin. Over the past decade she has trained extensively in ACT. Aisling also trained in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) in the US with Zindel Segal, the creator of MBCT. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), helps people to connect more to the present moment, those things that matter most to them and get unstuck in their lives. She has experience in working across a variety of settings including psychiatry, psycho-oncology, community, public and educational settings. She teaches on University courses and regularly gives ACT workshops internationally; most notably she has given workshops at Harvard Medical School. Aisling is a published author nationally and internationally in ACT and is keen to bring this transformative approach out to as many people as possible. She is known for her enthusiasm, passion, humor, authenticity and her capacity to make complex concepts easy to understand and apply. Aisling writes fiction and does improvisational comedy in her spare time.

Barney Callaghan

Barney is the owner of Callaghan Associates, which provides personal, business and executive coaching and training and development services. Barney had a career as an officer in the Irish Defence Forces: a senior manager in the National Health Service and served as CEO of Gaisce the President's Award. He has extensive experience in youth services both as a front line youth worker and at board level. He works as an international trainer for Rotary International and served as District Governor for Rotary Ireland. He is chairman of the Board of Salesian Secondary School, Limerick. His qualifications and experience include coaching, training and development, strategic and organisational development and change management. He was educated at University College Galway, Maynooth University, The Military College, Kildare, The University of Brighton, The Royal College of Surgeons In Ireland, The Kings Fund in the UK and University College Cork. He holds a 1st Class Honors MSc in Personal and Management Coaching from UCC. He is a fellow of the Irish Institute of Training and Development (IITD) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Most of Barney's working life has been devoted to developing people and enabling them to find the best in themselves and then help them put their resources to good use. Callaghan Associates is entirely focused on enabling people in order that they would empower themselves.

Dr. Celine Mullins

Celine is a Psychologist, and Coach. She is also an actor and writer, and combines skills, techniques and experience from this variety of areas to create unique and impactful learning & development. Celine has over 15 years experience as a Psychologist, Coach and Training Consultant working across Multinationals, SME´s, Governmental and Educational agencies. Celine puts a gigantic spin on more traditional approaches to learning, which she believes often fall short of making real and lasting change happen. With a focus on narrowing the gap between the training room and the real world, and using what we know about the brain and behaviour from psychology and neuroscience, Celine´s specialties include; leadership communication, eradicating behaviours and limiting beliefs that restrict performance and relationships, while improving team communication and collaboration. In the design and delivery of coaching and training (live, video and online ), nothing pleases Celine more than getting to the essence of people´s communication and behaviour to improve and strengthen relationships, productivity and success. Celine obtained her BA (Hons) in Psychology at University College Dublin and her Ph.D at Trinity College Dublin. She also has a Certificate in Training and Development, Diploma in Statistics, Diploma in Personal and Executive Coaching, Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and is currently mentored by Clinton Swaine; the world leader in experiential business training games. Celine is also an accredited agent of BIAC Profiles, a Personal Effectiveness Process that is linked to respected Psychological Theory (Ellis 1959), which provides performance improving behaviour. Celine teaches the Cognitive Behavioural Coaching Module on the MSc in Personal and Management Coaching, (Dublin Class at St. Patricks´ College, Drumcondra) University College Cork, (UCC). Celine is all about learning by ´doing´ and letting mistakes happen in her safe haven, instead of in the real world. In her past life, while studying and practicing her skills as a psychologist, she was also appearing in TV, Film and treading the boards as an actor. She now utilises skills from her interesting and varied background to take corporate coaching & learning with individuals and groups to the platform of real and lasting change. Dr. Sebastian Green

Dr. Sebastian Green MA (Sussex); D Phil; MA (UEL/Tavistock); H Dip (UCC); BA hons (TCD) Sebastian Green is a senior executive coach specializing in Leadership, Strategic Management and Organization Change. He works with organizations to enhance their strategic thinking skills and to implement effective change programmes. He works with managers to develop their leadership capabilities and improve interpersonal relations. Sebastian is Professor of Management at University College Cork (UCC) and was formerly Head of the Department of Management and Marketing and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Commerce at UCC. Before UCC he worked in Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand and at the London Business School. He co-founded Ochre, a consultancy working with individuals and organizations to enhance relationships, development and change. Sebastian studied: Economics at Trinity College Dublin, and at the University of California, Santa Barbara; Social Anthropology at Sussex University, UK; Psychotherapy at University College Cork; and Psychoanalysis (as applied to organizations) at the Tavistock Clinic. He is currently training as a senior executive coach at Tavistock Consulting.

Elizabeth O'Leary

Elizabeth O'Leary is a qualified coach and holds an honours Higher Diploma in Coaching / Coaching Psychology from University College Cork. Elizabeth has worked for a number of Multi national companies in South America, Spain and in Ireland and in her coaching practice she specialises in cross cultural coaching, induction programmes, building confidence and career coaching. Elizabeth has a person centred style to her coaching and mixes this effectively with Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioural interventions. Her passion for coaching comes from a desire to help people to realise their potential and manage themselves in the best possible way to achieve their goals. Elizabeth works with exploring values and aligns these to the goals of the coachee. She also works in the area of strengths coaching and favours a Positive Psychology approach to working with thinking styles and beliefs. Elizabeth integrates the use of Mindfulness in her coaching practice and uses this to build awareness and ease stress and anxiety.

Pat O'Leary

Pat O'Leary is a senior HR specialist in Performance Management and Coaching and works with businesses and organisations in developing and supporting effective internal coaching and coaching supervision structures. As a strengths based coach Pat works with people in dealing with change, managing challenges and developing opportunities in diverse settings. He has worked as an external Training Auditor with Engineers Ireland and acts as an adviser on training structures, accreditation, training delivery and training needs analysis to many companies throughout the country. He is an experience trainer in Mentoring and Coaching in the private, public and third sector and has served both as a director and on the Board of Management of several companies. His experience of working with large corporate organisations and in the SME sector gives him a clear insight into the challenges that many organisations currently face. Pat's work within organisational settings has seen him support businesses in the areas of change management, talent development, on-boarding skills and staff retention. Pat has also been active in the development of management and leadership skills within organisational settings and has supported companies in setting up strong coaching structures and establishing a coaching culture within the workplace environment. More recently Pat has been instrumental in delivering programmes in relation to building resilience and wellbeing for staff working on site and particularly for staff who work from home. Currently Pat is leading a programme to facilitate an effective ‘return to onsite work' for employees who have been working off site for a prolonged period of time. Pat holds a Masters in Change Management and Leadership from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. He holds a Higher Diploma in Personnel Management from UCC, a BA, a Diploma in Life and Executive Coaching and a Certificate in Training and Development from UCG. He is a Chartered member of the Institute of Personnel and Development and is a member of the Association for Coaching (AC). Pat holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Coaching Supervision through the Department of Psychology in Leeds Beckett University and a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy. In 2007 Pat developed the first Masters at level 9 to be awarded from an Irish University in Coaching. He continues to teach and coordinate on the MSc, the H.Dip and the recently established Post Graduate Certificate programmes in Coaching in UCC. In 2011 Pat delivered the first programme to be offered by UCC in Mindfulness and is director of the UCC MSc in Mindfulness Based Wellbeing. He holds an MSc in Mindfulness Based Interventions from UCD and is trained in the use of mindfulness in organisational settings through both Bangor and Oxford University. He is currently completing his Doctorate in Coaching and Mentoring in Oxford.

Peter Finch

Peter Finch As a practicing coach, Peter combines professional coaching competencies and education with over twenty years of business, leadership and training experience. His focus as a coach is on creating the space for clients to explore challenges, expand self-awareness and insight, and build on strengths. Peter is passionate about the power of coaching to help individuals and groups to reach their full potential. His approach is informed by the evidence of coaching psychology, in particular solution-focused cognitive behavioural coaching and positive psychology coaching. Peter's qualifications in coaching include a Masters in Personal and Management Coaching from University College Cork and a Higher Diploma in Coaching Psychology (UCC). He is a registered coach and adheres to the Code of Ethics and Good Practice of the Association for Coaching. In addition he holds a Higher Diploma in Education, and a BA (Hons.) in Economics. He is certified by the British Psychological Society as a test administrator in personality assessment and holds a professional certificate in the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness. Peter's coaching clients include business owners, corporate executives and senior team leaders in a variety of business settings and industries, both in Ireland and the UK. In addition to his work as a coach, Peter lectures part-time in coaching at University College Cork.
