Every good story starts with a love story, and ours is no different! Data Tax Inc. was founded by Raymond and DeeAnn Malone in 1979. DeeAnn started preparing taxes in Southern California for Skousen Tax Service in 1963. Over the years she loved doing tax returns so much that she talked Raymond into joining her and they became quite a team! When they moved back to Idaho in 1971 they started over building a tax business that was really needed in the area, growing until they opened an office in 1979 to better serve the community. And Data Tax Inc was born! We were one of the first firms in the area to prepare returns by computer, first sending them to a computer bank, then actually preparing them on site by computer beginning in 1983. We were one of the first offices to get approved and begin to efile returns in 1991... In 1999, because of health reasons, Raymond and DeeAnn Malone retired.
