Cera Allred

Cera Allred, M. ED, LCMHC-A is honored by the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and families on their journey to healing and hope. She graduated from High Point University with a bachelor's degree in special education and has a master's degree in counseling. From her experience in working with children and teens over the last eight years, she has a strong knowledge-base of their developmental needs. In her early career she gained experience working with children with mild to moderate disabilities. Currently, Cera enjoys working with youth and adolescents providing individual therapy and including family members into treatment as appropriate. In therapy, Cera takes a collaborative approach and strives to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental environment in which clients can share, process, and work toward creating lasting change in their lives. When practicing, Cera uses an integration of person-centered, mindfulness-based and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has had postgraduate training in incorporating yoga into therapy for trauma victims. She particularly enjoys helping those with anxiety, depression, grief, self-acceptance, the LGBT+ community, and other stressors children and adolescents face.

Chelsea White

Chelsea White, LCMHC, LCASA has been an integral part of mental wellness in our community for over 9 years. She is passionate about helping children, adults, and families live a full, balanced healthy life. She makes it her mission to assist people in navigating life challenges with coping, interpersonal, and social skills. Chelsea obtained her undergraduate and graduate degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with an M.S. degree in Mental Health Rehabilitation Counseling. To further Chelsea's passion and drive in this field, she is a member of the LPCANC and a National Certified Counselor. She has most recent experience in outpatient therapy, as well as, previously working in more acute care settings. Chelsea enjoys working with people of all ages and has the most experience with anxiety related disorders (social, separation, generalized), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Disinhibited social engagement disorder (DSED), and PTSD. Theoretically, Chelsea uses research-based methodologies such as Play-Therapy (ages 10 and under), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Integrative Therapy, and Person-Centered. Personally, Chelsea likes to practice self-care by doing DIY projects, cooking, painting, canoeing, traveling, and aromatherapy.

Hannah Cox

Hannah Cox, M.Ed, LCMHC is committed to the personal growth of children, adolescents, couples, and families. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a Masters in Counseling Education and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Hannah brings with her eight years of experience working in a school-based and private practice setting. She has been a counselor for 12 years and has worked with children and adolescents in some capacity for over 16 years. Hannah understands the unique social and emotional pressures that today's children face on a day to day basis. Additionally, Hannah has worked with children and adults as a Behavioral Assessment Counselor for Cone Health. In counseling sessions, Hannah focuses on meeting the client where they are in their journey and assisting in the healing and growth process. When practicing, Hannah utilizes mostly evidenced based approaches (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), family systems, and also integrates mindfulness, expressive arts and play techniques.

Leslie Higdon

Leslie Higdon, LCMHCA is a kind and compassionate therapist who cares deeply about providing a safe place for people to share their concerns, uncover their strengths, gain new perspectives, and increase their well-being. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with over 14 years of working with children, adolescents, and families. Leslie has gained experience in the schools and in private practice. She graduated from Salem College with her Master's of Education and furthered her studies in Clinical Mental Health at NC Central University. Leslie enjoys working with people of all ages and has experience in anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, behavioral issues, ADHD symptoms, and self-acceptance. Theoretically, Leslie uses a collaborative approach drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Person-Centered Therapy, Realistic, and Play Therapy.

Skylar Robinson

Skylar Robinson, M.S., LCMHCA (she/her) is passionate about child and adolescent mental health. She has a M.S. in Counseling from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro, and a B.S. in Psychology from Charleston Southern University. She has a background in providing outpatient services to primarily children and adolescents, as well as young adults and adults, and she has also conducted support groups and family coaching services. Skylar works from a client-centered and trauma-informed approach with children and teens who experience various mental health concerns including anxiety, suicidal ideation and self-harm, trauma, behavioral concerns, family conflict, and social-emotional needs. She uses evidence-based counseling approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Play Therapy. Skylar strives to create an open, safe and culturally inclusive space for collaborative care that will create meaningful change towards a client's goals. Skylar enjoys helping children and teens feel heard and understood through fostering a genuine, empathetic, and accepting therapeutic relationship full of emotional validation and promotion of autonomy.
