"Having soul searched for an appropriate solution to the threat of losing our holiday homes, which have served three generations of our families, at Kilbegnet beach County Wexford, my four neighbours and I finally settled on ECPS with their Ecab system as the only real permanent response to saving our properties from the ever increasing power of the sea in this era of global warming.
Pierce Power and Kevin Lynch provided us with clear designs and construction plans which were environmentally friendly, cost effective, and which were endorsed by the Wexford County Council following rigorous assessment.
The revetment, stretching to almost 400 metres in length, was constructed in Autumn 2017 amidst the fury of Storm Ophelia and Storm Brian, and was completed on time and to a very tight budget.
