EIS is a team of electrical and mechanical engineers that investigate plumbing, fire suppression, process piping and HVAC system failures for insurance carriers and litigation support. Our experts have the background and experience to help adjusters more accurately settle their claims and attorneys to better argue their cases... Our HVAC investigators spent years as design engineers, thereby gaining a detailed understanding of the function and operation of HVAC systems. We have investigated HVAC systems and equipment of all types including boilers, chillers, pumps, heat-exchangers, split system air-conditioners and gas fired units. We also understand the importance that building management systems play in the proper operation of mechanical systems, and have experience analyzing historical controls data to determine the root cause of system failures.
