Dr. Shannon Stanek

Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Shannon has always loved and cared for animals. After spending her 16th year as an exchange student in Australia, she moved to Virginia where she finished high school while working for a local veterinarian. She then attended Virginia Tech receiving two Bachelor of Science Degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural Economics before starting veterinary school at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine located on the Virginia Tech Campus. After graduating from vet school, Dr. Shannon joined a practice in Virginia and then started her own housecall practice. She moved to this area in 1999 when her husband, Jamie, was transferred here. Since then she has worked at a cat-only practice, a regular small animal clinic, and at the Humane Society of Berks County while running a housecall-only practice (Stanek Veterinary Housecalls). She brought the Exton Vet Clinic in 2006. Currently, she is enrolled in the University of Tennessee's Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner Program expecting to receive full certification early in 2023. She is the Past President of the American Association of Housecall and Mobile Veterinarians. She is a board member on two local charities To Love a Canine Rescue, PA and Horse Power For Life. She speaks locally and nationally on topics including Living and Practicing with Chronic Illness, Life after Brain Cancer, Surviving Stage IV Melanoma, Service Dogs management and training, The Human Animal Bond. She is the Mom to two human children - Ellie and Robby, 10 fur kids - Jack, Lily, Bertram, and Godric that stay at her house, Ferdinand, Mystique, Zelda and Rae that stay at the Clinic, and Indy (@Indytheservicepup on Instagram) who travels with Mom everywhere, and Bally her retired horse who lives on a friend's farm in Bernville. When not busy with the family and clinic, Dr. Shannon enjoys woodworking, baking, cooking, knitting, sewing, reading, decorating, and spending time with family and friends.

Emily Ramos

Originally from Brooklyn NY. Emily has been an animal lover her entire life. A graduate of LaGuardia Community College and Canton University she has an Associates Degree in Animal Science and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Veterinary Business Management. She has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2009 and has worked in the industry since 2006. With Dr. Stanek, she is also enrolled in UT's CCRPA Program and will finish with Dr. Stanek. Emily joined Exton Vet Clinic in 2019. She is the mother to a daughter - Amara, three dogs - Daisy, Maui, and Poppie, and two cats - Fred and Leilah. When she is not busy with family and the clinic, Emily enjoys camping, hiking, going to the gym, reading, crafts, decorating, and spending time with family and friends.

Sharon Stiles

Originally from Connecticut, Sharon joined the Exton Vet Clinic in 2021. She has worked in veterinary medicine at the front desk of a few practices since 1997. She has been active in rescue work for several years. She and her husband Dave are owned and well trained by their Cat Beep Beep and Dog Arrow. When not working, she enjoys long walks with Arrow, reading, rescue work, watching her beloved Rangers play Hockey, and spending time with extended family and friends.

Stephanie Mansmann

Originally from New Jersey, Stephanie has worked in the service industry her entire life. She originally joined us in January 2019. She left in the fall of 2019 but has rejoined us this year. Stephanie has been married to Ron for almost 22 years and is mom to two boys - Tyler and Austin, and a dog - Bagel the Beagle. When not busy with work and family she enjoys crafts, kettlebells and spending time with family and friends.
