Clare Aquilina

Clare graduated with a degree in European Studies from the University of Malta. She has been involved in the Malta Individual Investor Programme since its inception. Over that period she has assisted numerous families in successfully obtaining Maltese citizenship. She also has experience in the St. Kitt's Citizenship-by-Investment Programme, and in assisting clients with obtaining Maltese residence under the various programmes available in the jurisdiction. Clare graduated with a degree in European Studies and joined Frendo Advisory immediately subsequent to that. She has been involved in the Malta Individual Investor Programme since shortly after its inception.

Kasia Aldycka

Kasia has several years experience in dealing with Malta immigration-related matters. Her client base is primarily made up of High-Net Worth families from the Middle East, Russia and the Far East. She has assisted them with obtaining citizenship through the Malta Individual Investor Programme.

Luke Frendo

Luke started his career with Deutsche Bank, in London, within the Risk department. During that time, which spanned across two crises (2008/2009 and 2011) he worked within the credit risk team covering European financial institutions, supra-nationals and Southern EU countries. He graduated from the University of Malta with a Doctorate in Laws, submitting a thesis on the ‘Regulation of Risk in Banking', and from the University of London (Royal Holloway) with an MSc in International Business Management. Luke was admitted to the Maltese bar in 2013. He sits on the board of a global tech company, seeing its annual revenue increase almost threefold to $500m since joining. In 2020, the Group was sold to Blackstone for $3bn. He is responsible for the Private Client team at Frendo Advisory, and his clients primarily include high-net worth individuals and families from the Middle East and Asia. Luke was named as the "Best in Breed" in the 2021 Spears 500 list, an annual publication that covers the top individuals in the private client sector in the UK and internationally. He is the only named individual for Malta.

Michael Frendo

Former Speaker of the Parliament of Malta (2010-2013) and a former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta (2004-2008), Michael served as a Member of Parliament for 26 years (1987-2013) and also as Minister of Telecommunications, Transport and Technology (1994-1996) and as Minister (earlier Minister of State) for Broadcasting, Culture, Youth and Sport (1990-1994). A member of the European Convention on the Future of Europe, he is also a signatory to the Treaty of Lisbon in 2007. He was admitted to the Maltese bar in 1978 and, over a period of 22 years, has practised extensively in European Union law, Communications law, Corporate law and Gaming law. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Laws at the University of Malta where he is also currently the coordinator of the Gaming Law course. Michael graduated as Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 1977 and obtained a Masters in European Legal Studies from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom in 1984. He has written and published extensively books and articles on law, politics and diplomacy. Michael is currently a member of the Council of Europe European Commission on Democracy through Law (Venice Commission) which advises states on constitutional matters and issues relating to good governance, human rights and the rule of law. He is also a member of the Investment Migration Council and a member of the Advisory Committee. Michael has a keen interest in international politics, history, reading, and in Agatha Christie's Poirot.

Song Kaihui

Song (Kaihui) is originally from China, but has resided in Malta for almost twenty years. Prior to joining Frendo Advisory, she had various roles at Chinese-owned companies based in Malta. She joined us in 2018, and deals primarily with mainland Chinese and Mandarin-speaking clients, handling their immigration-related matters. She has experience with the Malta Residence…
