GeBis is a Melbourne based company founded by a group of data scientists and mathematicians aiming at delivering computational solutions for the genome wide discovery of DNA signatures linked to disease and agricultural traits. The company leverages from research undertaken over the past decade at NICTA's Bioinformatics Research Group (bioinformatics.research.nicta.com.au) in order to create affordable, robust and fast computing methodologies and tools for use on a wide range of computing platforms, from commodity desktops to supercomputers.
