Annie Kent Droppert

Annie Kent Droppert grew up on Bainbridge Island in Washington State, just a short ferryboat ride away from Seattle. Annie, her husband Jordan (also known as Mr. Droppert to his students at Jackson Hole High School), and their children enjoy alpine and cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, fly fishing, trail running, and spending time with their two Labrador Retrievers. Annie began her legal career as an Associate Attorney with Gonnella Adamson, PC in 2014. Prior to joining Gonnella Adamson, PC, Annie worked as a Certified Legal Extern for the Town of Jackson and as a Law Clerk for Garrett Hemann Robertson, P.C. Annie received her juris doctorate from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she earned a Certificate in General Business Law and served as an Associate Editor of Environmental Law, the nation's oldest law review dedicated solely to environmental issues. Annie is Chair of the Jackson/Teton County Housing Authority Board, a Coach with the Jackson Lacrosse Club, and was previously a Mentor with the Teton County Mentor Project. Annie focuses her practice in the areas of estate and tax planning, business planning, situs planning, and trust and estate administration.

Clay D. Geittmann

Originally from Washington State, with a brief childhood stint in Jackson Hole in the mid-1970s, Clay decided to return to Wyoming when he graduated from Gonzaga Law School in 1997. Clay and his wife Sarah, along with their three sons, currently enjoy all that Jackson has to offer, spending their free time at the youth athletic fields, trail running, mountain biking, skiing, paddle-boarding, backpacking, fly fishing, bird hunting, and otherwise trying to take advantage of all that Jackson has to offer. Clay focuses his practice in the areas of estate and tax planning, business planning, situs planning, and trust and estate administration. Clay began his legal career in 1997, and at all times since then has developed his practice in Teton County, Wyoming. Clay is a Fellow with the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel (ACTEC), and received a Martindale-Hubble "AV-Preeminent" peer review rating from other practicing attorneys. Clay currently serves as a director of the Center for the Arts as well as the Teton County Search and Rescue Foundation. Clay has previously served as a Director of the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, Teton County Housing Authority and a member of Jackson Hole Kiwanis. Clay recently retired as a Lieutenant from Jackson Hole Fire/EMS.

David K. Larson

Dave Larson was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, February 1, 1944, and earned his B. S. at the University of Utah in 1967. He earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Utah in 1973. He was admitted the to Wyoming State Bar and the U.S. District Court, District of Wyoming, in 1973. In 1983, he was admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He is AV Peer Review Rated. Mr. Larson served as Town Attorney for the Town of Jackson, Wyoming from 1974 to 1994. He is a member of the Teton County Bar and was its President from 1976 to 1977. He is a member of the American Bar Association sections on General Practice; Urban, State and Local Government Law; Real Property; and Probate and Trust Law. Dave was raised in Jackson and lives with his wife, Judy.

Elizabeth Alva Rosa

Elizabeth Alva Rosa has been with the firm since July 2015. Liz is originally from Montreal, Canada where she attended Concordia University. Liz has lived in the area since 1993 and likes to spend her free time enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and two children.

Gail Wells

Gail Wells has been with the firm since March of 2019. Gail moved to Jackson from Erie, PA in April of 2015. In her free time she loves to walk dogs, read, and cook.

Gardner Heaton

Gardner Heaton has been a Relationship Manager with the firm since 2022. Prior to that he worked as a management consultant for 20 years. Gardner has a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and attended The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University for a Master of International Law. John W. Graham

John grew up in Washington, DC and attended Georgetown Law School, where he graduated cum laude. After graduation, John and his wife, Jenny, moved out of the city and back to her home state of Wyoming as quickly as possible. They have been enjoying the skiing, biking, and wide-open spaces of Wyoming ever since. John began his legal career clerking for the Honorable Kelly Rankin in the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming. After his clerkship John practiced with both the Spence Law Firm and the Teton County Attorney's Office. John's previous practice has ranged from high-stakes litigation in federal courts to local land use and zoning disputes. John has a general civil practice which includes litigation, real estate, land use, and business entity formation and operation.

Julie A. O'Halloran

Ms. O'Halloran is an experienced family law attorney who guides clients through the complexities of dissolution. Her practice includes divorce, custody, child support, property division, paternity and negotiation of prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements. For more than 32 years, she has helped clients navigate through the challenges of family law disputes with meaningful and constructive direction. In addition, her practice includes extensive mediation services. Ms. O'Halloran serves as a Board Member of the Family Law Section of the Wyoming Bar Association. She has a history of holding leadership positions in family law organizations, including serving as past Chair of the Wisconsin Divorce Cooperation Institute, past President of the Wisconsin Society of Family Lawyers, and a member of the Board of Directors of the State Bar of Wisconsin Dispute Resolution Section. In addition, she is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer at seminars throughout the country. She is also active within the Jackson, Wyoming community serving on the Board of the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, the Board of Trustees for Friends of Pathways, and an Advisory Board member for Becoming Jackson Whole. Over the years, Ms. O'Halloran has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America and Outstanding Lawyers in America in the area of family law. She was selected as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer for ten consecutive years, and has been selected as a Mountain State Super Lawyer each year since 2016, and she is on the list of America's Top 100 Attorneys. Kathy Spencer Zelazny

Kathy grew up in San Francisco, California, spending much of her time in Northern California, as well as with her extended family in East Texas. She graduated from Duke University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she worked as a paralegal in the litigation department of a large law firm in Washington, DC. In 1993, she earned her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law. After graduation, she attended New York University and was awarded a Graduate Law Degree in Taxation (LL.M.) in 1994. From New York, Kathy headed west to Jackson, Wyoming where she started working at Mullikin, Larson & Swift LLC in the summer of 1994. While in Jackson, she met and married her husband Greg Zelazny of Cleveland, Ohio, a graduate of St. Lawrence University and a licensed land surveyor. In 2001, Kathy and her family moved back to Northern California and settled in the Napa Valley to be closer to family. Kathy's family is in the wine business, selling grapes grown on the family vineyards to various wineries and, until 2008, making wine under their own label known as Temple Family Vineyards. Kathy has been practicing law in the Napa Valley for the past 15 years. She joined the St. Helena office of Gagen, McCoy, McMahon, Koss, Markowitz & Raines in 2002 and was a shareholder there until 2009 when she joined Block, DeVincenzi & Zelazny LLP as a partner. In 2014, she established her solo practice in St. Helena, California under the name of The Law Offices of Kathy Zelazny. In 2015, Kathy renewed her relationship with Mullikin, Larson & Swift in Jackson when she became "of counsel" to the firm. Kathy was thrilled to practice law again with her Mullikin, Larson & Swift partners and to have the opportunity to travel back to Jackson regularly. She has negotiated and prepared real estate contracts, as well as limited liability company, corporate and partnership agreements. Kathy likes to spend her leisure time with her husband and teenage sons traveling, hiking, skiing, fly fishing and attending school and sporting events. She also enjoys running and reading.

Matthew E. Turner

Matt Turner was born and raised on the Triangle X Ranch, a historic guest ranch located in the heart of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He is a member of the fourth generation of the Turner family to operate the Triangle X Ranch. Matt spent the summers of his youth guiding four to fourteen day horseback pack trips into the Teton Wilderness Area; hosting guests from around the world. Today he still assists with management of the Ranch and participates in hosting Ranch guests during the summer months. Matt graduated from Jackson Hole High School in 1984, attended the University of Notre Dame and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1988. Matt obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas in 1993. Matt graduated from the University of Kansas as a member of The Order of the Coif and was a Note and Comment Editor for the Kansas Law Review.

Melissa J. Lin

Melissa was born and raised in Queens, New York. After graduating from Cornell University with her undergraduate degree, she worked in management consulting and tech. Melissa then attended Cornell Law School, where she served as Publishing Editor of Cornell Law Review and graduated cum laude. Phelps H. Swift

Phelps spent his childhood years in Illinois before heading to New England for his prep school and college education, graduating from Harvard College in 1976. After college, Phelps and his wife, Pam, moved to Wyoming and spent a year at his family's ranch near Pinedale. In 1977, Phelps' business career began as a licensed real estate agent in Jackson. After several years selling real estate, Phelps returned to Wyoming Law School where he received his degree with honors in 1983. Pam and Phelps raised their three daughters in Jackson Hole spending countless hours on ski hills, equestrian events, soccer games and fly fishing. They have been active in the Jackson community serving on boards for the Chamber of Commerce, Jackson Hole Ski Club and Jackson Hole Land Trust. Phelps' interests include his family ranch, fly fishing, powder skiing and golf. Pam and Phelps enjoy travelling in their new RV, visiting their children and grandchildren across the country. Phelps' practice includes the representation of individuals and families primarily in the areas of Real Estate, Business Planning and Commercial transactions.

R. Michael Mullikin

Mike Mullikin was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, December 31, 1942. He died September 19, 2006, after a nearly two-year battle with cancer. He was a founding partner of Mullikin, Larson & Swift LLC together with David Larson and Phelps H. Swift, Jr. Mike earned his B. S. at the University of Wyoming in 1966. He earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Wyoming Law School in 1967. He was an editor of the Wyoming Land and Water Review from 1965 to 1967. Mr. Mullikin was admitted to practice in Wyoming and the U.S. District Court, District of Wyoming, in 1967. In 1973, he was admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and was admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 1983. He served as Assistant County and Prosecuting Attorney for Laramie County, Wyoming in 1970 and was a Municipal Judge for the City of Cheyenne from 1973-1974. He served as a Ninth Judicial District Court Commissioner for Teton County, Wyoming. He was a member of the Local Rules Advisory Committee for the U.S. District Court, District of Wyoming; the Teton County and American Bar Associations; the Wyoming State Bar (Ninth Judicial District Commissioner, 1979-1981; Defense Lawyers Association of Wyoming; and the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by all who knew him.

Sara E. Van Genderen

Sara was born in Groton, Connecticut and raised in Jackson, Wyoming beginning in 1973 when her father moved the family via Chicago and Denver to Jackson to work as one of the valley's earlier orthopedic surgeons. She grew up in the Tetons and on the slopes of Snow King Mountain and the Jackson Hole Ski Area. After graduating from Jackson Hole High School, Sara went east for college, earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Middlebury College in Vermont and earning a Master of Arts in Governmental Administration from the University of Pennsylvania. Sara returned to Wyoming for law school and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1993. Sara married Andrew Cornish of Westport, Connecticut and Middlebury College, and together they returned to Jackson, where she has practiced law with Mullikin, Larson & Swift LLC since 1993. Andrew is the owner of a real estate brokerage firm and a real estate appraisal company, Brokerage of the Tetons and Rocky Mountain Appraisals. At Mullikin, Larson & Swift, Sara has developed a civil practice with longstanding and valued clients, focusing on real estate, employment law, corporate entity formation and operation, business and construction contracts, special district and governmental entity representation, and school law. Sara has enjoyed her career relationship with her partners and has appreciated being part of such a well-respected and established local firm. She looks forward to the enhanced experience, expertise, and client service that will be provided by Geittmann Larson Swift LLP in the years to come. Sara's free time is spent with family skiing, traveling, and attending school and sporting events. She and Andrew have two active high school children and often can be found on the sidelines cheering on the kids in soccer, cross-country running, and alpine and Nordic ski racing. Sarah Shervin

Sarah Shervin has been a Paralegal with the firm since 2015. She is a Jackson local raised in the valley, but spent time away attending Portland State University and stationed all over the country in the US Navy. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Portland State University and a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Arizona. She now spends her free time skiing, biking, hiking, and camping with her husband Mitch and their two dogs.

Stephen P. Adamson

Stephen P. Adamson, Jr. (1973-2015) focused his practice in the areas of estate and tax planning, business planning, situs planning, and trust and estate administration. Prior to practicing law, Stephen was vice president of operations and a shareholder of Davenport & Company, LLC, a 150 year-old private investment firm headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. Education: Stephen received his B.A. in Business Management from Gettysburg College and J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law. Licenses and Memberships: Stephen was licensed to practice law in the State of Wyoming and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Stephen was a member of the Wyoming State Bar and Virginia State Bar. Stephen was also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a worldwide professional association for practitioners dealing with family inheritance and succession planning, and serves as the Vice-Chairman of the STEP Wyoming Chapter. Community Involvement: Stephen served as a Director and Treasurer of the Center for the Arts, a cultural and arts center located in Jackson, Wyoming and as a Trustee of the National Museum of Wildlife Art, located in Jackson, Wyoming. Personal Life: Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Stephen developed a passion for the Rocky Mountains and specifically Jackson Hole through summers at Teton Valley Ranch Camp.
