Barb is a graduate of The Royal Military of Canada where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Honors History and Political Science in 1989. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Honors Psychology and Philosophy from The University of Manitoba in 2004. She gained valuable experience in her various positions while serving as a Personnel Administration Officer in the CAF from 1989 to 1994.
Barb was employed as the Administrative Assistant for Groundwork Engineering Limited from 2017 to 2021. In her role as Office Coordinator. Barb handles Human Resources and provides administrative support to the team.
Daniel has been employed at Groundwork Engineering Limited since 2016 following the completion of his Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from St. Lawrence College. Daniel is responsible for implementing projects, preparing reports and coordinating investigations and tests under the direction of the Senior Engineer. He is also responsible for preparing stormwater analysis data and drawing preparation. He has several Health & Safety certifications as well as professional certifications.
Daniel has participated in the engineering design and construction inspection of parking lots, retaining wall structures, onsite wastewater treatment and road works. He has significant practical knowledge in field surveying.

Danny joined Groundwork Engineering in 2021. He graduated from Fanshawe College in 2013 with an Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
Danny's previous design experience was in custom countertops and CNC machine programming in London, ON. Danny is a CAD designer with a focus on retaining wall design.
Dave completed his Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from St. Lawrence College in 2015 and then attended Queen's University where he received his Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering. He joined Groundwork Engineering Limited in 2019. Dave conducts geotechnical investigations.
Dave brings experience in concrete design and inspection from his previous experience with a bridge design firm. He applies his experience in structural design to aid in the design and inspection of retaining walls.

Jeremy is a Junior Civil Engineering Technologist at Groundwork Engineering Limited. He completed his Advanced Diploma from St. Lawrence College in 2018. He also holds a Diploma of Arts and Science (2015) from St. Lawrence College.
Jeremy has completed a number of Health and Safety courses, workshops and holds associate memberships in OACETT and OOWA. Jeremy serves on the OOWA events committee. He is responsible for processing field data and collects data and information from municipalities and regulatory authorities. He has practical experience in Onsite Wastewater assessments and designs.

Martin received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from The Royal Military College of Canada in 1989. He was employed in numerous positions as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and received his Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering from The Royal Military College in 1995. Following his retirement from 1 Construction Engineering Unit in 1998, he became a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario and joined Holsgrove Trucking & Excavating Ltd. of Kingston as a co-owner. In 2007 Martin became the Project Manager and General Manager (Western Division) for Cruikshank Construction. Martin established Groundwork Engineering Limited in 2012.
Matt graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Engineering in 2017. He joined Groundwork Engineering Limited in 2019. Matt is responsible for implementing and monitoring our fieldwork. He regularly performs site inspections, wastewater sampling, geotechnical investigations and survey operations. Matt is proficient using trenchless sewer inspection equipment and Total Station and GPS surveying equipment. Matt conducts in-situ tests, retrieves samples for laboratory testing and oversees work conducted by contractors. Matt is responsible for Ministry of the Environment, Conservation & Parks Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) monitoring which includes test result review and yearly compliance reports.
Patti joined Groundwork Engineering Limited in February 2021. She brings 10 years of construction administration experience from her former employment at Bricaza Corporation. Patti is responsible for Accounts Receivable and Payable, Payroll and Reception.

Ross completed his studies at St. Lawrence College as a Civil Engineering Technologist in 1983. He is one of the Field Technologists for Groundwork Engineering Limited. He is responsible for preparing reports and coordinating investigations and testing under the direction of the Senior Engineer.

Stuart joined Groundwork Engineering in 2021. He graduated from St. Lawrence College in 2017 and worked as a Gradesman for Morven Construction. While he was a student he gained experience working with Cruickshank Construction Limited.
