Guelph Youth Dance was co-founded in 2005 by Janet Johnson and Catrina von Radecki as an extension of their work with Guelph Dance. They recognized a need for youth dancers to access high-quality contemporary dance training that combined technical skill with creative exploration... The Guelph Youth Dance Company offers dedicated young dancers aged 9 to 19 the chance to work with professional choreographers and perform regularly throughout the year. This enriching experience is perfect for aspiring dancers considering a career in dance or for those who enjoy the rigour, discipline and joy that being in a youth dance company can provide...
