Alvin serves as General Manager for Hayward Tyler's China Operations. A veteran of the pump industry, he started his career with Ingersoll-Rand in 1989, and has held progressively expanded roles throughout his career, including sales, sales management, marketing, distributions management, and senior management roles for major operations.

Drew Van Norman - President

Drew Van Norman was appointed President of Hayward Tyler's US operations in 2022. Drew has over 30 years of experience in the pump industry and joined Hayward Tyler as a Lead Design Engineer in 2016. Since that time, he has held the positions of Engineering Manager and General Manager. Prior to joining Hayward Tyler, he held various engineering positions at SPX Flow, a global manufacturing and industrial equipment supplier for the energy sector, leading the design engineering efforts for pumps and rotating process equipment. Drew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from Michigan State University and Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Outside the office, Drew enjoys skiing, cycling, motorcycling, and traveling to spend time with his family.

Ratish Balachandran

Ratish Balachandran is Director and General Manager for Hayward Tyler's India Operations. With expertise in regional market requirements, he leads a strong team that includes sales and field service, as well as rewind services for Hayward Tyler, KSB/Torishima, and V Flo brands. Since 1990, Ratish has served in engineering and management roles for several leading industrial corporations, including KSB Pumps Limited, Kirloskar Brothers Limited, L&T, and National Engineering Industries Limited. He has also specialized in starting up businesses from inception. Ratish joined Hayward Tyler in 2009 to spearhead the company's expansion plans on the Indian subcontinent. Over the years, his responsibilities have included business development for the energy and oil & gas sectors, targeting customers such as BHEL, NTPC, State Electricity boards, ONGC, NPCIL, EIL, Reliance, Adani, BGR Energy, L&T, and Alstom. An IIT Roorkee Engineering Graduate, Ratish is a trained CII-EXIM Assessor and has been rated highest in Competencies and Capabilities Development Centre by Hewitt Associates. Ratish is a soccer enthusiast, and enjoys spending his free time helping India's street animals.

Tom Parent - VP

Tom Parent is Hayward Tyler's Vice President of Human Resources and Information Technology. He develops and implements global strategies in both HR and IT, and oversees those teams across all facilities. Tom joined Hayward Tyler's leadership team in 2012, becoming the company's first HR Manager in the US. His duties have since grown to include IT, as well as overseeing the company's priorities related to health, safety, and the environment. He comes with many years of experience in business and HR, with significant skill in human relations, conflict resolution, training, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. Outside of Hayward Tyler, Tom has served as President and Board Chair of the Vermont Parent Information Center, a non-profit helping special needs students gain full access to educational opportunities. He has served for many years on the Little League Board in his hometown of Williston, Vermont, and has coached more baseball, softball, basketball, and soccer teams than he can possibly remember. He enjoys hiking and spending time with his wife and two children.
