My name is Michaela Thomas. I teach fourth grade at Higher Learning Academy. I am Lead Teacher for Social Emotional Learning as well as HLA's Site Sports Manager. This is my fifth year of teaching at HLA. Prior to teaching, I was the After School Program Supervisor. I have been working with children in several different capacities over the last 10 years including, after school mentor/teacher, nutrition/fitness coach, cognitive intern tutor, and a classroom aide.
