House Rules Cafe was founded by Kathleen Miller, a board game enthusiast with over a decade of experience in the food and wine industries. It is located at 757 Columbia St in Hudson, NY, only a block away from some of the best shopping, eating, and cultural experiences in Columbia County. Her minion husband, Joel Holtzman, is the brain behind the membership database (20 years of web development experience) and the Kickstarter video (a course of study at AFI for screenwriting and cinema), as well as providing comic relief... In the mornings (except Tuesday and Wednesday) we are open for takeout or eat in, with a full breakfast menu and our pour-over coffees and loose leaf teas. For lunch and throughout the day, our menu has salads, sandwiches, munchies, and frappes. We recently added a growing selection of wines, beers, ciders, and sakes; along with this, we also launched a dinner menu, and extended our hours later into the night.
