The roots of HSI Duratek go back to 1927, when Holt Service Station was opened in Des Moines. Four generations later in 1996, Holt Sales and Service was started as a spin-off of the original Holt Tire Service and originally sold reconditioned trailer wheels. As the business grew, there was a demand for tire and wheel assemblies in both the OEM trailer and the short line agricultural industries... Today we supply hundreds of manufacturers with both torsion and spring axles as well as a full line of components including brakes, springs, jacks, couplers, lighting, wiring, chains and much more. We are actively expanding into new markets and are also adding heavier axle capacities to our lineup.
