We are realistic, practical, simple but not simplistic. We recognise that it is clients who change their lives; we, at best, inspire, enable and support change. We build partnerships with other services and we recognise our limits... iKiDs (I Know I Do) supports children whose parents have separated or are separating. This can be a painful period for young people and requires many adjustments. Anxiety and other mental health problems can result, without the right support. We help children to: understand the situation, express themselves and participate in the decisions that affect them adjust to changes in living arrangements deal with any feelings of grief and loss, especially if parents are fighting. Our independent counsellors are skilled in supporting children and young people during this challenging time. Support is tailored to the age and needs of each child.
