When the IRCF was formed, all remaining funds held by the former Arborg & Districts Health Centre Foundation were transferred into it. Additional start-up funds were donated by the Noventis Credit Union Ltd. Incorporated as a Public Foundation, our charitable status permits IRCF to issue tax receipts for donations... The Icelandic River Community Foundation provides a vehicle to ensure that those who care deeply about the future of those who live in Bifrost have an opportunity to build community, today, tomorrow and forever... Improving the quality of life of those living in the Rural Municipality of Bifrost, including the Town of Arborg and the Village of Riverton.
