Amy Wojtal

Amy has approximately twenty years of experience in the independent power production sector with significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, human resources, and compliance. Prior to her current position with Ironclad Energy Partners Ms. Wojtal worked for Recycled Energy Development, EPCOR USA and Primary Energy Ventures. Amy has a BS in Business Management and Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix.

Brian Gibson

Brian Gibson is responsible for Ironclad's accounting and finance operations. Prior to joining Ironclad in 2020, Brian was the Controller and FINOP of Third500, LLC (a FINRA regulated Broker/Dealer) where he was responsible for the company's accounting, administrative and compliance operations. Earlier in his career, Brian served as an accountant on Nicor's joint venture to construct two underground natural gas storage facilities. Brian received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accountancy both from the University of Notre Dame. He is a registered Certified Public Accountant in Illinois.

Christopher Fanella - Founder, President

Christopher Fanella is a co-founder, President and CFO of Ironclad. He has spent most of his career in the IPP and industrial energy sectors focusing on acquiring, financing and managing generation facilities and companies. Mr. Fanella has held roles where he was responsible for strategy, business development, investor relations, commercial contracts, business risk analysis and other administrative matters. Mr. Fanella has previously worked for Primary Energy Recycling Corporation, Lakeside Energy, and Primary Energy Ventures. Mr. Fanella has a Bachelor Business Administration and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame.

Craig Bennett - SVP

Craig has over twenty years of experience in the independent power production sector with significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, risk management, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance and litigation management. Prior to his current position with Ironclad Energy Partners Mr. Bennett worked for Recycled Energy Development, EPCOR USA, Primary Energy Ventures, Infilco Degremont and Trigen Energy Corporation. Craig holds a BS in Business Administration from Bryant University, a JD from Delaware School of Law and a MA in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College. He served in the US Army for 26 years and retired as a Brigadier General. He is admitted to practice law in New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.

Eric Gottung

Eric Gottung has over 30 years experience developing, designing and building industrial and utility energy plants. Mr. Gottung is currently leading the execution of the $90 M coal to gas conversion project at Eastman Business Park. Gottung spent 20 years at Alstom-ABB-Combustion Engineering's boiler division as general manager of the U.S. industrial boiler operations, global HRSG commercial director, engineering and project management roles. He has executed projects in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Prior to joining Ironclad, Eric worked for United Technologies Corporation at the research center, leading development efforts of on-site power and emissions control technologies. Mr. Gottung holds a B.S. degree in Agricultural Engineering and a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. He has an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He received his professional engineering license in Connecticut. Mr. Gottung holds four US patents in emissions control and energy recovery applications.

John Prunkl - CEO, Founder

John Prunkl is Ironclad Energy's CEO, co-founder and has 30+ years of global operating experience in natural gas and coal power generation, natural gas fired CHP, district energy, wind energy, waste heat, waste water and byproduct fuel fired generation facilities. As an owner and operator of independent generation facilities most of his career Prunkl has strong technical understanding of power plants, plant economics as well as how to operate in both public and private capital structure. Prunkl received his MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, and his BA in Mathematics from Huntingdon College. He serves as Chairman of the Waste Heat to Power Association and is on the board of directors for the Midwest Cogeneration Association.

Martin Collins

Mr. Collins is responsible for coordinating and performing due diligence on acquisition opportunities, identifying opportunities to improve the commercial and operating profiles of prospective and owned businesses, as well as providing operational, technical and asset management / commercial support to our portfolio companies. Mr. Collins has over 25 years of experience in industrial energy and IPP operations and asset management as well as energy related acquisition, development and finance. Prior to joining Ironclad, Mr. Collins was Executive Vice President at Lakeside Energy (2007-2016) where he was operational, technical and asset management lead for all M&A activities and generation assets. Mr. Collins also served on the board of directors of Dongara Pellet Plant, L.P. (2009-2015) and was Chairman of the Board from 2010 to 2015. Prior roles were held at Primary Energy Ventures through its sale in 2007, Private Power and LTV Steel. Mr. Collins received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical, from Marquette University.

Ray Deyoe

As SVP Business Development & Optimization, Ray Deyoe is focused on pursuing new opportunities to apply Ironclad's unique expertise in acquiring and upgrading existing industrial cogeneration and district energy systems. Ray has over thirty years of experience in business development, project development, asset management and consulting in combined cycle power, cogen, waste-to-energy and solid fuels gasification. Prior to joining Ironclad, Ray served as Managing Director of Integral Power LLC, a project development company with a mission to develop cogeneration and waste heat-to-power projects. Earlier in his career Ray held process and project engineering positions with Destec Energy and The Wing Group, and served as a manufacturing representative for major equipment suppliers with Process Sales Company. Ray served as Chairman of the Texas Combined Heat & Power Initiative from 2006 to 2015, and on the board of the Heat is Power Association from 2012 to 2019. Ray holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Scott Kerrigan

Scott Kerrigan is responsible for Ironclad's accounting, finance, risk management, administration and benefits operations. Scott is the former Vice President and Controller of Recycled Energy Development where he was responsible for many of the company's accounting and administrative operations, served as the transaction manager for Recycled Energy's 2013 acquisition of the utility assets at Eastman Business Park in Rochester, NY, and provided due diligence support for project development and acquisition efforts. Prior to joining Recycled Energy in 2007, Scott held positions as Director of U.S. Operations for Composite Materials Technologies, Plc for six years, Vice President of Operations for Medicor Corporation for four years and various roles in commercial finance over a ten year period. Scott received a B.A. degree in industrial design from the University of Illinois at Chicago; an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago; and a Juris doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law.
