Titan's founder Max Whiley (Pictured) and five business partners established the company in 1965 with the purchase of the heavy haul and crane hire division of Wilkins and Davies. The company prospered and in 1977, Titan Cranes was formed as a separate company to operate the crane hire fleet with Titan Equipment concentrating on the sales and service of new and used cranes. Max Whiley sadly passed away in 2007. The Whiley family continue his legacy and the Titan Group has retained his core values: loyalty, good service, and employing people of principle.
