My path into child therapy started in general medicine whilst working for the NHS. Seeing first-hand the effects of mental ill-health on an individual and their family led me to retrain in 2010. Since then I have worked as an outreach team member with Samaritans supporting young people with suicidal tendencies and obtained a degree in psychology at Winchester University. In the last nine years I have worked both privately and in primary and secondary education schools, working with children diagnosed with a range of complex needs from behavioural, emotional and social difficulties to autism spectrum disorder. After completing my degree I moved into child psychotherapy obtaining a post graduate diploma with distinction in Play Therapy from Leeds Beckett University and I continue to research and participate in courses and workshops that I believe are..
