Maghera Primary School is a caring,friendly community school, where we educate and develop each child to their full potential in order to meet the challenges of life... Maghera Primary School opened in April 1967. Pupils attending the school come from the town of Maghera and the surrounding area. The school has a current enrolment of 104 and employs a Principal. 5 Teachers, 1 part time Special Needs Teacher, 4 Classroom Assistants, Secretary, Building Supervisor, 2 cooks and 2 Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants... We pride ourselves in providing a caring ethos where pupils and staff are valued and feel confident in their relationship with each other. We encourage children to give their best and strive to maintain a positive atmosphere in which they can reach their full potential.
