MAPP is an inclusive group with the aim to further the availability of psychoanalytic information and thinking, particularly within the public sector... MAPP is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation. MAPP consists of practising psychiatrists/psychodynamic psychotherapists with an aim to promote psychodynamic psychiatry through providing support, education, supervision and networking... MAPP provides not only seminars for the Certificate of Advanced Training, but also occasional short courses for professional development. These have included ‘How to Set Up in Private Practice' and ‘ Basic Concepts in Psychoanalysis'.
