Martin was born in Maryland, in 1956. In 1979, he graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering. In 1983, he received a Master's of Science degree with a specialization in geotechnical engineering from Purdue University. Since completion of his engineering studies, Martin has worked continuously as a geotechniclal engineering consultant. His places of employment in the United States have included the Port Authority of New York City, Terratech (San Jose, CA), Morrisen-Knudsen (San Francisco, CA), AGS (San Francisco, CA), Parsons-Brinckerhoff (San Francisco, CA), and Alan Seward Engineering Geology (Santa Clarita, CA). In Israel, Martin has worked with Blank-Lehrer Engineering (Tel Aviv), and since 2011, Martin has worked in the geotechnical engineering consulting office of Mike Doktofsky. Martin's areas of expertise in geotechnical engineering include evaluation of foundation reliability, seismic hazard, soil-structure interaction, and numerical analyses

Mike is the founder and CEO of MIKE DOKTOFSKY GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING LTD. Mike was born in New York in 1955, and has lived in Israel since 1975. He received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Technion in 1984. He received his Master's of Science Degree from the same institution in 1994 with a specialization in geotechnical engineering. After completion of his Bachelor's degree Mike worked for the Soils Laboratory at the Technion, and then for the Israeli Ministry of Construction of Housing for four years. He worked for one year for the geotechnical firm Blank-Lehrer Engineering. From 1993 to 2007, Mike worked as an independent geotechnical engineer. In 2008, he founded Mike Doktofsky Geotechnical Engineering LTD. His areas of expertise include deep foundations in soil and rock, soil and rock anchors, slope stabilization, swelling soils and rocks. Mike was a member of the expert committee that prepared the Israeli Standard for Soil and Rock Anchors which was published in 2011.

Sagi was born in Israel in 1975. Between 1999 and 2014, Sagi owned and operated an independent business. In 2015, Sagi graduated from Management College (מכללה למנהל) in Jerusalem with an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering. Starting in 2015, Sagi has been employed as an associate engineer at Mike Doktofsky Geotechnical Engineering, Ltd. He is currently studying to obtain a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering at Ariel University. Sagi is a skilled AUTOCAD technician.
