Alan started his plumbing and gas fitting apprenticeship in 1968, graduating with his Red Seal Certificates in 1972. His field experience included the supervising of site operations primarily on Commercial and Institutional projects. In 1975 Alan moved into an office environment as an Estimator/Project Manager with Canem Systems Ltd. In 1986 Merit Mechanical Ltd. began operations with Alan taking on the role of President of the company. Since starting with Merit Mechanical Ltd. Alan has added both his steamfitter-pipefitter and Cross Connection Control Specialist. Alan has been the sole owner of Merit Mechanical Ltd. since 1991 and will be celebrating 29 years with the company and 46 years in the industry in 2014.

Brian has been involved in the mechanical construction industry for 19 years. He currently holds Red Seal Journeyman Certificates for both Plumbing and Gas Fitting. Brian's experience ranges from mainly Commercial and Institutional projects to Laboratory and Dental Facilities. Brian has strong, proven organizational and problem solving skills with a keen focus on our service to the client as well as our maintaining strong employee relations.

Keri's first dabbling's into Merit Mechanical Ltd. came early. She began helping her dad count inventory since the ripe old age of 10 years old. In her teens she moved up the corporate ladder to filing and answering the telephone. After she graduated high school she joined her dad full time handling the day to day operations of the office. She has enjoyed her on the job training and is now responsible for the accounting and administration duties that go along with a successful business. In 2013 she celebrated her 20 year anniversary with Merit Mechanical Ltd.
