In this day and age, it is far to easy to get caught up in the ferocious speed with which we are bombarded with information, much of which is made obsolete the next moment. The depth and breadth are staggering and human physiology was not meant to handle the pace of modern life. Evolution and human development happen at a tortoise pace. Consider the parts of the body which may have once been necessary but at present seem to serve little or no function. These include your appendix, tonsils, and body hair (fur). So how does one embrace a full, joyous, and rewarding life, rather than just exist in the high paced stressful environment of today's world? As humans, we have a choice to allow ourselves to be victimized by these external circumstances or to be proactive on our own behalf.
