Hi, my name is Jessica and I have always wanted to be an advocate for animals. My passion has been learning how to make their lives better. I have worked in Small Animal and Shelter Medicine for over 17 years and it never ceases to amaze me. Most of my time is spent taking care of my pets, but when I am not, I am taking care of my husband Mark and our trucking company. I enjoy reading, loud music, trying out new recipes and traveling with my husband. I joined Downtown Veterinary Clinic because my friend Rhonda needed another assistant and I wanted to continue my journey in learning everything I can about Vet Med. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members and I will be an advocate for your pets.
Hi, my name is Sam, and I joined the Downtown team in June of 2021. I currently live in Port Washington with my younger sister. My dog's name is Jax, he is a black lab crossed with a Treeing Walker Coonhound. He can be a handful at times, but life would not be the same without him. Outside of work I like to spend my time hanging out with friends and taking Jax on new adventures.
I have always loved animals and knew I wanted a career where I could make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners. I attended Milwaukee Career College for the Veterinary Assistant program and graduated in 2017. I worked in a clinic for 2 years before coming to Downtown. Now that I am here, I intend to further my education and begin studying to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. I am excited to meet and work with your pets. Let's make coming to the Veterinary Clinic a positive experience!
