NEPHOLOGICAL - Key Persons
Founder and Director Chris Newman began his journey working his way through the trenches of I.T. Help Desks during the dot-com bubble of the 90s in Washington D.C., advancing into technology roles in the U.S. government after the terrorist attacks of 9-11 through Northrop Grumman's Aerospace division.
In Australia, Chris has worked in I.T. industries of banking, mining, and energy as a system engineer, security specialist, and network administrator. Working in large government and corporate environments in the USA and Australia has provided Chris with a broad and comprehensive I.T. work experience built upon customer care and adapting with technology as it evolves.
In the 2000s with the advent of cloud computing, businesses small and large have had to update their I.T. infrastructure or risk being left behind by their competitors. Starting as a sole trader consultant in 2010 and then incorporating Nephological in 2015, Chris' idea was to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) bridge their technology gaps and help SMBs update and adapt to cloud computing platforms such as Google Business Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure. This is at the core of Nephological, helping organizations move from the then into the now.
