Why the design - The application is a desktop only and we adhered to Nielsen and Molich's 10 User Interface Design Guidelines... Approach and reason - Since the duration was limited, we chose an Agile UX development approach. We split the entire development time into sprints with basic UI places conveniently at the start sprint. Sprint meetings were conducted weekly twice. As an UX designer, I stayed ahead of the sprints and built prototypes that can be reviewed by the team members at the sprint meetings. We also conducted initial user test and final usability test... How it solves the problem and Tangible benefits: The project helped Wone understand their users better as we conducted multiple contextual enquiries. The client used the data to validate their earlier designs and gave picture of where they needed improvement. Success criteria: We validated our results against a vision sheet that we created during the start of the project that was agreed upon with the client.
