OPERATIONOPTIKOS

OperationOptikos is a nonprofit organization created to gather and sort used spectacle glasses and redistribute them around the world to those in need... Operation Optikos aims to help provide spectacles to individuals, leaders of surgical expeditions, and communities of people, who would otherwise not have this resource for improved vision... Our team gathered and supplied over 1000 pairs of glasses to the people of Vanua Levu. In addition, we did cataract surgeries and corneal transplants on over 50 people. Our organization screened many patients, and supplied the spectacles for later missions by optometrists.
