PATCHWOOD FARM

Patchwood Farm is located on 106 acres on a hilltop overlooking Pipers Glen - about 25 km east of Inverness, Nova Scotia. Before we moved here, the land was worked for three decades by Kailea's granduncle and has always held a special place in her heart. The location is entirely off-grid. For electricity, we rely primarily on solar energy. We wake up to outstanding views and are a short hike away from the wonder of Egypt Falls. It is an exceptional place to live and work... Patchwood Farm is committed to growing great food to nourish our community and is grounded in respect for our natural environment... We strive to produce nutrient dense food that tastes fabulous and we're very conscious of the processes involved in getting this food to our tables. We believe that sustainable agriculture involves the health of all things, including our natural environment, our community, ourselves, and our economy.
