Alexander's flair for sales began as a teenager while selling skis at a West Island shop, whose owner taught him about the fulfilment felt when helping people succeed in their pursuits. He learned that being both direct and transparent was the recipe to thrive. An entrepreneur like his father and brother, Alex later operated a home maintenance and renovation company for 8 years that spanned his Bachelor of Business Administration at Bishop's University. Upon graduation, he started his career in a corporate environment and spent the next 13 years enhancing his business acumen in various sales and management roles for some of the largest building materials companies in North America. In 2019, he decided to re-evaluate his career and saw an opportunity to join Team Pedriks. Alex took the leap and never looked back.
