Role: Pre-School Administrator Years Experience: I have experience working in different industries for many years which were all office based. I have built and developed my administrative skills over the years. From operational support to client account managing which has taught me a lot about being flexible, adaptable and helpful. Education: About Me: "I like to bake, mainly birthday cakes for my daughters which has lead to me baking a wedding cake (never again I might add). I have experienced wedding photography and photographing babies, most recently when I was working as a Bounty Photographer at the hospital, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Quality time with my family and friends is important to me" I work in Early Years because….: "It is a lovely environment to work in. I like to be as helpful as I can be to parents needing guidance on sending their children into an early years setting, as I know I was absolutely clueless before my daughters attended here. Even though I am in the background and not directly working with the children, it is nice to see them become more independent, learn new skills and knowing that they'll be ready for their next step in education when they leave Pollyanna."

Katie Alexander

Role: Pre-School Practitioner Years Experience: I joined Pollyanna Pre-School in 2021 as an SEN Support Assistant,, progressing to Pre-School Practitioner this year. Education: I am preparing to undertake my level 3 qualification in Early Years in the next year. Following my A-Levels, I completed the Introduction to Health and Social Care via Open University. About Me: "I was a Police Community Support Office for 7 years until I moved to Children's services as a Child and Family worker for 3 years before taking a career break to start my own family. Having two young boys, I love to take them to different places to experience new things, enjoying family days out. We like to go on bike rides, walks and camping as a family". I work in Early Years because….: "I enjoy working with children, being able to teach tehm new things and watching them learn how to share, make new friends and become independent, all whilst having fun. I am passionate about achieving the best outcomes for the children that attend Pollyanna.".

About Me: "Following my school years, I completed two Level 3 health and social care courses. Since working at Pollyanna Pre-School, I know my career path is in early years childcare".
