Tania M C Lewis (known as Pog!) has been a High School Teacher and Special Educator for over 10 years. Originally from the UK, she came to Australia in 2007. Pog specialises in working with students with ASD, ADHD, ODD and behavioural challenges. She also has extensive experience in working with students who are hearing impaired. Pog has experience in primary and high school contexts and has deep knowledge of the high school Year 7-12 English and Business Studies curriculum. She also has qualifications and experience in teaching Drama, Art, Movement, History and Geography. Pog also has a special interest in supporting students to develop their independent learning and study skills.. Pog has an interest and passion in the creative arts, along with film making. On two occasions, Pog has worked with students to get their animated films into the Focus on Ability Film Festival finals. Pog is currently studying to become a Transpersonal Art Therapist, which she feels will be a strong additional set of skills to assist her students.
