Skies Unlimited was founded in 2004 by real amateur astronomers seeking to share their hobby with others. We've been active in the hobby for many years, and brought with us our collective telescope buying experiences. In general, we found that manufacturers publish lots of information about their telescopes, but often too little is actually relevant to the true viewing experience. We wanted to create a store where people could go for honest advice on amateur astronomy. Everyone who works at Skies Unlimited is an active amateur astronomer, and they speak from a position of experience. We'll take the time to help you identify your needs and expectations. Then we'll help you pick the right telescope or accessory... We're located outside of Pottstown, PA just beyond the bright lights of Philadelphia where you can still see stars at night.
