Scott is a member of the Utah State Bar and is admitted to practice in both state and federal court. Scott joined Skoubye Nielson & Johansen in 2023. Scott is a trial lawyer specializing in business, real estate, construction defect, and has litigated trademark cases. He has litigated cases in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts. Scott also has experience with filing for and obtaining trademarks for small businesses. Prior to joining Skoubye Nielson & Johansen, Scott was employed as in-house counsel at Clearlink and as a trial attorney at McNeill Von Maack and Terry Jessop & Bitner. Education Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and a minor in campaign management from the University of Utah and a Juris Doctorate degree from Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark School of Law.

E. Tatiana Quinn

Tatiana joined Skoubye Nielson & Johansen in 2021, after practicing law for four years at Daniel W. McKay and Associates, a civil litigation / family law firm in Utah County. She also worked as a juvenile court parental defense attorney for Utah County's Public Defender office for a short time. Tatiana focuses on general civil litigation, including family law, contract disputes, and disputed guardianship/conservatorship and probate/estate/trust matters. Education Tatiana holds a Philosophy degree (and Music minor) from Brigham Young University, and a Juris Doctor degree from BYU's J. Reuben Clark School of Law. In Law School, she was selected to serve on the Executive Committee for the Law and Religion Symposium, served in the Criminal Justice and Women in Law clubs, and volunteered for the Utah County Family Justice Center and Nebo School District's Truancy Diversion Program. Michael D. Lichfield

When Michael joined Skoubye Nielson & Johansen, LLC in 2015, he brought with him fifteen years of experience representing clients in litigation. His areas of emphasis include boundary disputes, premises liability, personal injury and agency proceedings.

Nathan Anderson

Nathan is an associate as Skoubye Nielson & Johansen where he focuses on commercial litigation, construction law, transportation law, and appellate advocacy. Nathan handled three appeals in Nebraska state appellate courts and two in the Eighth Circuit on issues ranging from sexual harassment to medical malpractice. In Utah, Nathan worked at the Attorney General's Office as an Assistant Solicitor General where he briefed nearly 20 appeals and handled five oral arguments before the Utah Court of Appeals. Education Nathan attended the University of Utah where he graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Political Science and interned with the Utah State Legislature. In 2012, he graduated in the top ten-percent of his class from the University of Nebraska, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Nebraska Law Review, received awards for best oral advocate and best brief in appellate advocacy, and competed in a national closing argument competition at Harvard. Nathan is an associate at Skoubye Nielson & Johansen where he focuses on commercial litigation, construction law, transportation law, and appellate advocacy.

Stevan R. Baxter

Stevan is a member at Skoubye Nielson & Johansen, LLC. He manages a national litigation practice with a special emphasis in transportation and construction law. Stevan and his team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff assist freight brokers and trucking companies in managing the risks inherent in the transportation industry. This includes advising manufacturers, freight brokers, freight forwarders, motor carriers, fulfilment operations, and warehousemen as they navigate complex cargo and casualty claims, providing insurance coverage analysis, and drafting all types of transportation, fulfilment, employment, and warehousing contracts that contemplate and mitigate risk before it occurs. Stevan also handles non-compete, non-solicitation, and other employment related matters. Stevan and his team provide experienced and aggressive representation to owners, contractors, suppliers, and construction services professionals. He has helped his clients successfully work through complicated insurance coverage disputes, contract disputes and negotiations, lien foreclosures, performance and payment bond claims, and land use issues. Based out of Salt Lake City, Stevan represents clients from all over the United States and world.
