Cody Bishop

As the Director of Rental Management, Cody oversees the operations and continued growth of Tidewater's rental department. While providing insight to our rental Property Managers, his goal is to provide stand-out service to the owners and tenants we manage. As a main value to Tidewater, Cody and his team look to provide quality service to their tenants and owners, while achieving the goals of their clients. They also strive to be knowledgeable in the field and to learn and to grow the rental department. Cody is a graduate of Carroll Community College with a degree in Business Administration. He has spent time in the customer service field as well as the construction field prior to his time with Tidewater Property Management. Cody is a professional member of National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). In addition, he has won several awards with Tidewater including the Employee of the Month four times and 2017 Employee of the Year. In his free time Cody enjoys coaching youth basketball and baseball and also looks forward to playing softball and golf when time allows.

Gail Windisch

Gail studied Business Administration at Frederick Community College and joined Tidewater in May of 2003 after answering an ad for an Administrative Specialist position. Throughout her career at Tidewater, she has worked in almost every division and position possible in the office and has excelled into her current position as the Senior Director of Operations. In addition to overseeing the marketing, business development and general office operations of all locations, she continues to manage a small portfolio of communities. She believes continuing to manage communities is an important aspect to retain as it helps to keep her grounded and relevant on the ever-changing laws of this industry. While a member of CAI (Community Association Institute), Gail has earned several designations including the CMCA® (Certified Manager of Community Associations) in 2015, the AMS® (Association Management Specialist) in 2016 and, most recently, the PCAM® (Professional Community Association Manager) in 2018. She was named one of the Top 25 Finalists in 2016 and one of the Top 10 Finalists in 2017 in the National and prestigious Manager of the Year competition. Gail currently sits as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Chesapeake Chapter of CAI. Gail believes in the value of each employee and works hard to bring out the best in everyone. Although there is always room for improvement, it is her personal goal to encourage employees to excel both professionally and personally. Her door is almost never closed, and she is always willing to lend a helping hand in order to get the job done. She values teamwork and encourages everyone to believe in the same. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, son and husband and has a passionate love for the game of volleyball. Gail also loves to travel with her family and never turns down a trip to the beach!

Jordan Baltimore

A Maryland native, Stanley Greenberg founded Tidewater in 1989. He didn't stray far from his alma mater, the University of Baltimore, where he graduated with a degree in accounting. A later degree in engineering rounds out Stanley's expertise. After auditing for the City of Baltimore and years of practical experience managing thirty shopping centers, Stanley opened Tidewater Property Management. What started life as a home-grown property management firm, was destined to grow into a full-service Real Estate company. Stanley provides leadership to the Property Management, Maintenance and Realty Group divisions of The Tidewater Companies, and still acts as a Community Association Manager. He's also dedicated to preserving Tidewater communities' best interests and putting Progress in Motion by working with builders and developers, formulating governing documents, developing budgets, and setting up associations throughout the state. While Stanley and the team remain the utmost professionals in their responsibilities, Stanley also ensures that his employees enjoy their work environment. His favorite aspect of The Tidewater culture is the balance between "working hard and having fun." Stanley's commitment to the industry and the community extends into his personal life. He serves on the Board of the Fallston Commons Condominium Association, and has served as a board member of several charitable organizations, in addition to contributing to several charities and community events as a way of "giving back" to the community. When work is done, Stanley enjoys basking leisurely in the Florida sun, and enjoying precious time with his family. Joe began his career at Tidewater as a Community Association Manager in 2016. His expansive career and vast knowledge of the industry made his transition into the Baltimore Metro Regional Director easy. In this position, Joe is responsible for the oversight and direction of the Community Association Management team in the Owings Mills office. Responsibilities include oversight and professional development of Managers and Administrative Specialists as well as coordination of their efforts and the resources provided by Tidewater Property Management. Joe has a wide-ranging resume of diverse positions including serving as an elected official in municipal government, serving as an officer in the Maryland Municipal League, career as a Firefighter/Paramedic, and helped to build a family-owned and operated training and equipment supply company serving Emergency Services industry. During his tenure at the family business, he assisted his father in building a company from a concept which successfully employed seventeen individuals. Joe originally became involved in association management in 2000 when he was hired as an Association Manager and worked as a Senior Project Manager for a leading Engineering firm. He has been a long-standing member of CAI (Community Association Institute) and served as President of the Chesapeake Chapter in 2012. Joe believes the support he has received from others during his professional history is the reason he has grown to where he is today. "Understanding the available resources, knowing when and how to rely on them, and giving the guidance and credit they deserve, leads to future success for everyone involved. I have always been and will always be in a team environment." Outside of work Joe enjoys spending time with his wife, watching their pug bark at nothing while the horses and deer are eating grass in the fields. If it has a motor or engine, Joe will watch it race (although he's secretly wishing to drive it). If he's not talking about work or watching something race, you can find him bragging about his two wonderful and successful children.

Marc Greenberg - CEO, VP

A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, Marc brought years of Real Estate investment experience to Tidewater when he joined the company in 1997. By overseeing company-wide operations and strategic planning initiatives, Marc contributes valuable insight to all facets of The Tidewater Companies. He also still acts as a Community Association Manager and advises clients and property managers on a daily basis. With a passion for helping his clients and communities prosper, Marc plans to continue putting Progress in Motion within the Property Management, Maintenance, and Realty Group divisions of Tidewater. Gaining the industry's highest designations gives Tidewater's executives the notability to do so. Marc is a member of the industry's most elite group, having earned the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designation. He is also recognized as an Association Management Specialist (AMS®) and a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®). In addition, he serves as a board member of the Fallston Commons Condominium Association. The unique qualities that each Tidewater employee contributes to the company create the team culture that Marc cherishes the most. He adds that "learning from experiences and overcoming the challenges of our industry" are the rewards of the job. When free time permits, Marc has been spotted releasing stress at tee time on the golf course. But after a long day on the job, there is nothing more Marc looks forward to most than coming home to his family.

Matthew Merckel

Matthew joined the team in 2009, being originally hired as an Administrative Specialist, he was soon promoted to a Community Association Manager and held a large portfolio for the company. In July of 2018, he was appointed as the Director of Business Development where he is now responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing aspects of Tidewater. Prior to employment at Tidewater, Matthew grew up in Buffalo, New York, and obtained a Bachelor of Science from Buffalo State University. In addition to being a member of CAI (Community Association Institute), Matthew has earned his CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) and AMS (Association Management Specialist) designations. Through his hard work as a Community Manager, Matthew received Tidewater's Service Award, as well as the Business Award three separate years. Both outside and inside the office, Matthew chooses to live by the mantra "The best way to predict the future is to create it." ( Abraham Lincoln) He values commitment and accountability and loves spending his spare time catching up on the latest movies and sports news or achieving his personal fitness goals and actively playing a variety of sports.

Reesa Szikman

Reesa joined Tidewater in 2002 after attending and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Studies through the University of Maryland College Park. Her prior career history includes experience with working with emotionally disturbed adolescent children for two years at Sheppard Pratt Hospital in addition to experience in the insurance industry for MEC and MCC healthcare. At the time Reesa came to work with Tidewater, the company's portfolio only included around fifty communities in the Baltimore area. After seventeen years with the company, she has watched it grow to a first-class Management Company that now manages over three hundred associations in the Baltimore, DC, Pennsylvania and Virginia areas. The Director of Collections oversees Tidewater's collection department. This includes handling past due accounts, working with various collections attorneys, as well as managing the various Utility Companies. Reesa understands that, as Director of Collections, you may not be everyone's favorite person, but also understands that using the golden rule of treating others as you wish to be treated, can make someone's bad situation just a little bit better. "You never know what someone may be going through but treating them with kindness and respect and being patient with their anger can make all the difference to them, and to myself" Reesa has said. Reesa grew up in Baltimore and has been happily married for twenty years. She is the mother of two gorgeous daughters. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters and dog, and vacationing somewhere tropical and warm. In the future, she hopes to move South where she can enjoy the outdoors all year long.

Stacey Schaffer

Stacey began her career with Tidewater in July of 2012 and quickly grew into her position as the Director of Human Resources and Office Management. Not only does she have eighteen (18) years of customer service experience, but she continues to grow and learn in her HR role with the guidance from outside consultants, and attends continuing education classes, seminars and webinars. She also manages the everyday functions of each Tidewater office. One of Stacey's great accomplishments was implementing a new payroll platform that is not only a tool for the employer, but for the employee as well. This system includes a time keeping system and an employee landing page where there are many resources and functions available to them. Those resources include benefit information, company information, press releases and more. Stacey values relationships both inside and outside of the office and strives to build and maintain strong connections so there is comfort and trust. Collaboration is very important to her as she works with a variety of people on a daily basis. Stacey leads by example to set the company's expectations and standards and, through her position, advises, directs and communicates her ideas and company goals which not only helps to guide the employees, but motivates them and inevitably has an impact on everyone. Outside of the office, Stacey is a mother of two, has a passionate love for music, enjoys kickboxing and playing volleyball, is a big Washington Capitals fan and enjoys cooking. You will even catch her seeking out healthy food joints or local coffee shops.
