D & J Franks is a family run business, well established and respected as one of the most trustworthy landlords in Durham City. The business was set up in the 1970s (as a local Building and Gas Heating business - see www.djfranks.co.uk) and has grown from a portfolio of 2 student houses and 8 beds to 14 Student homes and 66 beds in 2012. The business is owned and managed by David and Denise Franks based in Durham - closely assisted by their 2 daughters - past and present students themselves respectively... Our students all receive personal attention from our family - we are on hand to show you around the house, introduce you to former students - who are more than happy to vouch for us - and to look after you while you settle in (it has been known for us to help offload cases from parents cars!).
