To ensure the success of future projects and showing of its high production capacity, thyssenkrupp acquired 60% of Mercedes Benz Lenkungen. We built our first steering system prototype equipped with an ECU (electronic control unit), and began establishing our professional software development processes... The construction of our new production site for chassis and powertrain components in Jászfényszaru has been completed. The factory will produce electric power steering systems and valve train systems for German and international automotive plants. We established the new factory complex with an investment in the value of more than HUF 30 billion... thyssenkrupp Presta Hungary Kft. was founded by our parent company, enabling us to officially become an E/E (electrical and electronic) development centre. We moved to our new headquarters building in Daróczi Street. We received our first product development contract from BMW in 2007.
