Mr. Bacon has been instrumental in resolving dozens of multi-million dollar class action settlements on behalf of consumers and employees, including against such companies as Match Group (Tinder), The Home Depot, Windsor Fashions, Nationstar Mortgage, SCI, and Hewlett Packard. Mr. Bacon has been Selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for each of the past four years - spanning from 2016 to 2019. The award is reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys under 40 years of age. Mr. Bacon is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles College of the Law, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Bacon helped found and manage a successful online retailer, which develops and sells alternative energy green lighting products for homes and automobiles. He is currently admitted to practice in the State of California, as well as in the Ninth Circuit.

David B. Levin

David Levin has spent nearly his entire legal career representing the rights of consumers, handling cases under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, United States Bankruptcy Code (automatic stay and discharge injunction violations) and related state laws. David has also represented thousands of purchasers of defective motor vehicles and other products under various state "lemon laws" and the Federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. He has represented many individuals who were the victims of consumer fraud (unfair and deceptive sales practices). He even represented residential tenants in the City of Chicago in cases against unscrupulous landlords and property managers. Over the last 20 years, David has personally resolved or managed the prosecution of several thousand consumer legal matters in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Prior to joining our firm, David has been a partner in his own consumer protection law firm, which represented consumers in ten states. He also helped to build litigation departments in two of the largest consumer law firms in the country. David is a native of Ohio who is now proud to call Chicago his home. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University in 1989 and graduated from The University of Toledo College of Law in 1992. David is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Ohio and West Virginia. He is admitted in all of the United States District Courts in Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan and West Virginia. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Meghan E. George

Meghan George is an associate attorney at The Law Offices of Todd M. Friedman. Ms. George focuses her practice on Plaintiffs employment litigation and consumer rights litigation. She has successfully helped litigate and settle a wide range of cases for the firm. In 2010, Ms. George received her J.D., cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law. Ms. George also received her Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine University School of Law. During law school, Ms. George was a Literary Citation editor for the Pepperdine School of Law Dispute Resolution Journal. As the Vincent S. Dalsimer Chair of the School of Law's Moot Court Board, Ms. George orchestrated the annual Vincent S. Dalsimer Moot Court competition at Pepperdine. Ms. George also worked as a Research Assistant for the School of Law's Legal Research and Writing program, as well as a Teaching Fellow for the First Year Academic Success program. Ms. George is a member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, California Employment Lawyers Association, Consumer Attorneys of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in California state courts as well as federal district courts in the all districts of California.

Steven G. Perry

Steven G. Perry is an associate attorney at The Law Offices of Todd M. Friedman. Mr. Perry focuses his practice on plaintiff's employment litigation, plaintiff's consumer litigation, and class actions. In 2018, Mr. Perry received his J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. During law school, he started a consumer fraud investigation group with several chemists. As the director of the investigation group, Mr. Perry has conducted economic and legal research related to widespread industrial and consumer fraud, and has overseen the development of experimental methods designed to uncover fraud in industrial and consumer products. Mr. Perry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Central College in 2015. Mr. Perry is admitted to practice in the Illinois state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
