D. Clark Turner - CEO, Founder

Dr. Turner received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Analytical Chemistry from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He was Founder, CEO, and Chairman of Aribex from 2003 to 2012, and principal inventor of the NOMAD handheld x-ray systems. In recognition of the commercial potential of the NOMAD, Aribex was purchased by Danaher Corporation (a Fortune 500 company with $16B in sales) in November of 2012. Using his proceeds from the sale of Aribex, Dr. Turner has founded Turner Ventures, an independent, privately held physical and life sciences investment firm that funds promising start-up and early-stage companies. In addition to angel investments, Turner Ventures' operating portfolio includes Turner Innovations, an early-stage research and development company focused on bridging the gaps between fundamental research and commercialization of technologies based on that research.

Mike Drake

He has accomplished this for organizations of various sizes, from small start-ups to large multinational corporations with $31B in revenue.

Tim Weeks - CFO

Tim earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Colorado. He has owned and served as President/CEO of two organizations and served as a CFO and executive in several others. He is currently a partner and the Director of Scoreboards for CFOwise (an outsourced CFO service company) and is the CFO for multiple client companies.

Tom Youd

Tom brings 15 years of experience in design, development, and manufacturing of medical devices. Prior to joining Turner Innovations, Tom was with GE Healthcare where he was the Lead System Design Engineer for the Surgical Navigation organization, developing an electromagnetic tracking system for surgical instrument tracking and advanced imaging capabilities. Tom began his career at BSD Medical where he served in progressively responsible positions including Mechanical Design Engineer, Project Manager, and Mechanical Engineering Manager. While at BSD Medical, Tom was Project Manager over the MTX-100 and MTX-180 Microwave Ablation Systems that received 510(k) clearance in 2008 and 2010 respectively. Tom also has experience as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Research and Development at Merit Medical. Tom holds a BS (Mechanical Engineering) and MBA from Brigham Young University and an MS (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Utah.
