Aaron D. Dunham

Aaron became an attorney to make a positive impact on his community. He accomplishes this by representing individuals, businesses, and local utilities with their complex real estate and legal issues. Aaron's practice focuses on real estate (both litigation and transactional) and legal representation of utilities. Aaron represents approximately ten Irrigation Districts, Water Sewer Districts, and private utilities. Aaron understands that litigation often involves goals of efficiently resolving a dispute, while holding others accountable for their actions. Aaron strives to strike a balance between providing technical, legal advice and practical advice to his clients. Aaron grew up in the countryside of Northeast Iowa. His grandparents farmed, his father was a veterinarian, and Aaron raised beef cattle. After graduating from Iowa State, Aaron moved to Spokane to attend Gonzaga University School of Law. He excelled at Gonzaga, earning awards in several classes including Legal Research & Writing. Aaron uses his education and experience to effectively communicate with the court, opposing parties, and his clients. During law school, Aaron interned with the firm of Wolff and Hislop. The firm hired him after graduation and Aaron continued with the firm as it evolved into Wolff, Hislop & Crockett and eventually WHC Attorneys. He became a partner in 2021 and heads the firm's Real Estate and Utilities Practices.

Bradley C. Crockett

Brad has always felt a strong calling to help others through the practice of law. Brad began his career advocating for clients in the courtroom. While he still oversees litigation matters, Brad primarily assists businesses as a trusted advisor and oversees the team of WHC Attorneys.

Caleb Wilson

Caleb became an attorney with the goal of providing wise counsel that is both practical and legally sound. As a member of the transactional and litigation teams at the firm, Caleb serves both individuals and businesses in a range of areas including Real Estate, Estate Planning, Probate, Intellectual Property, and Business Disputes. Caleb has been with Wolff, Hislop & Crockett PLLC since 2019, serving as an Associate Attorney and Rule 9 Limited License Legal Intern. He became an attorney to improve his community by helping people and businesses navigate the complexities of the law so they can focus on what matters in life. Serving in both litigation and transactional matters, Caleb helps clients with transactions and disputes in real estate and construction, as well as estate planning, probates, and intellectual property. Caleb grew up in Redlands, California. Prior to going to law school, Caleb planned to enter the medical field like his mother, who is a nurse. In preparation for this, Caleb obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Westmont College. However, he eventually found his passion for the law, attended Gonzaga School of Law, and followed in his father's footsteps who is also an Attorney. Outside of the office, Caleb enjoys spending time with his wife and family, exploring the outdoors, gardening, and doing home improvement projects. Casey Kinross

Casey spent her childhood in a rural town in Utah. She earned her undergraduate degree from Southern Utah University, focusing on sociology, legal theory, and political science. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she had the opportunity to intern for the United States Senate in Washington, D.C., where she noted the importance of working closely with individuals in the pursuit of justice, which solidified her decision to attend law school, driven by the desire to enhance her skills and knowledge, ultimately positioning herself to better assist individuals as they faced tough scenarios. After obtaining her bachelor's degree in sociology from SUU, Casey relocated to Spokane, Washington to pursue a law degree at Gonzaga University School of Law. During her time in law school, she actively participated in moot court, where she learned the ins and outs of negotiation, client counseling, and trial advocacy. Notably, Casey achieved success in her first year by winning the law school's annual negotiation competition. In her second year, she joined the National Trial team and took on the leadership role of captain in her third year. Her involvement in the National Trial Team not only refined her trial advocacy skills but also provided valuable experience as she traveled to compete in various trial competitions. These further solidified Casey's desire to pursue litigation. During her final year of law school Casey was able to intern at WHC Attorneys and truly learned from the best. During her time as an intern, Casey cultivated a deep affinity for WHC's principles and their dedication to zealous client advocacy. Following Casey's graduation from law school and passing the bar exam shortly after, she transitioned into the role of attorney, contributing her skills to the litigation team at WHC. In this capacity, Casey passionately engages in the relentless pursuit of justice, and advocating for her clients. Drew Helmstadter

Drew is passionate about the law because it enables him to serve his community in both a personal and professional manner. As a member of both the transactional and litigation departments at WHC Attorneys, Drew helps individuals and businesses in a variety of practice areas including Corporate Transactions & Formation, Business Disputes, and Real Estate Transactions & Disputes. Drew has been with WHC Attorneys, PLLC since 2018, serving as an Associate Attorney and Rule 9 Limited License Legal Intern. Drew strives to provides value to his clients in the form of knowledge, hard work, and integrity. With his transactional clients, Drew recognizes the importance of identifies his client's goals and develops a course of action designed to efficiently reach those goals. On the litigation side of his practice, Drew helps his clients navigate the complexities of legal disputes while leading them towards their goals and an ultimate resolution whether that is settlement or trial. Drew grew up in Palm Desert, California. Both of Drew's parents owned small businesses which allowed him to see the tremendous value of hard work and diligence. Drew followed in his mother's footsteps towards a career in accounting, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and minor in Business Management from Northwest Nazarene University in Idaho. Drew was the starting catcher for the baseball team during his four years at NNU. Upon graduating from NNU, Drew went to Gonzaga University School of Law where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Outside of the office, Drew enjoys spending time with his wife and family outdoors and playing sports. Drew and his family attend Summit Church on the South Hill.

Jamie was a founding member of the Law Offices of Wolff and Hislop. Which served as the roots for Wolff, Hislop & Crockett, PLLC. In 2023 Jamie retired from the practice of law and voluntarily resigned his license to practice law in the State of Washington.

Jane Bitz

Jane Bitz is an attorney who has been practicing law in Spokane for over 20 years. Her practice emphasizes Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Probate. Jane practiced as a solo practitioner for many years, but has now joined the law firm of Wolff, Hislop & Crockett, PLLC as of counsel. Ms. Bitz has been in private practice in Spokane since she was admitted to the bar. Jane has experience in working with clients, including seniors and their families, in the areas of tax and estate planning, long term care planning and Medicaid qualification, guardianship, alternatives to guardianship, trust administration and probate. Jane has also successfully litigated cases involving financial exploitation of her elderly clients. Prior to law school Ms. Bitz received her B.S. in Film and Television Production at Montana State University. After working several years in advertising and commercial production, she attended Gonzaga University School of Law and obtained her J.D., Magna Cum Laude. Joe Carroll

Joe believes personal attention to the individual client is key to excellent representation. Good communication allows the attorney to understand and act on the client's needs and desires. Joe strives to keep the client well informed of the issues of the case and it's status. Joe grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. Once introduced to the West, he never looked back, attending undergraduate school in Montana and law school at Gonzaga University. Prior to joining Wolff, Hislop & Crockett, PLLC, he was a solo practitioner for 23 years. Joe has volunteered for a number of organizations, including as an adaptive ski instructor, soccer coach and service on the State Soccer appeals panel. Rob attended Law School with the goal of positively changing the lives of each of his clients and seeing that justice is served in every case. With a passion for litigation and persuasive legal writing, Rob provides meaningful and zealous representation to each of his clients on the litigation team at WHC Attorneys. Rob grew up in a small town on the Olympic Peninsula. He attended Central Washington University and spent the first several years after his graduation working as an Emergency Medical Technician, Wildland Firefighter, and ultimately, a Security Police Officer at a Naval Base. After interning with a local attorney, Rob made the decision to apply for law school. Rob graduated summa cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law and during his time there, earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in seven classes, published a law review article, served as an Executive Editor on the Gonzaga Journal of International Law, and won the regional appellate advocacy moot court championship. After law school, Rob spent the first years of his practice assisting family law clients in navigating the complexities of divorce and child custody disputes. After gaining significant litigation experience, Rob transitioned his practice to WHC Attorneys, where he utilizes his passion and experience in litigation to assist clients in a wide array of legal disputes including construction, real estate, business, and employment. In 2024, Rob joined the firm's leadership team as a Partner. When Rob is not in the office, he enjoys spending his time with his wife and two kids, competing in triathlons and other endurance events, bowhunting, and cheering on the Gonzaga Bulldogs and his favorite football and baseball teams. Samuel J. Fenton

Sam became an attorney to solve complex problems and promote justice. In his work as a member of the transactional and litigation teams at the firm, Sam brings a holistic and detail-oriented approach to the practice of law to ensure his clients financial, personal, and philosophical needs are met. Sam grew up in a small town outside Kansas City, Kansas. Coming from a family of teachers, journalists, and marines, Sam was raised with a passion for learning and adventure. Sam attended the University of Kansas and studied political science, history, and economics. Before graduating, Sam was named a Global Scholar and afforded the opportunity to conduct a two-year interdisciplinary research project on culture & politics in the United Kingdom. While at KU, Sam developed his court room skills by captaining the National Undergraduate Mock Trial team, winning numerous awards including Top Rocky Mountain Region Attorney. Sam followed his passion for courtroom advocacy to Gonzaga University School of Law. There, Sam competed on the first Gonzaga National Trial Team to reach the Regional Final. He graduated summa cum laude from Gonzaga and during his time there, earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the receiving the top grade in both Employment Discrimination and Non-Corporate Entity Law. Sam began at Wolff, Hislop & Crockett PLLC as an intern. Through his internship, Sam learned to practice law and connected deeply with WHC's commitment to integrity. His connection to the firm's values led him to accept the position of Associate Attorney, and he now serves clients in various areas including employment, real estate, and insurance litigation. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Sam volunteers with the Gonzaga National Trial Team. Outside the office, you'll often find him enjoying activities such as skiing, exploring new restaurants, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs alongside his wife and their two dogs.

Wm. Scott Hislop

Scott has a family history with deep ties to business and real estate in the Greater Spokane area. Scott has always cherished building long term client relationships. A client receives the best legal advice from a lawyer that not only knows the law, advocates intelligently, and assists the client in finding a creative legal solution; but also has a clear understanding of the client, the client's business, and the client's goals. Scott grew up in the Liberty Lake area and graduated from Gonzaga University. After spending a year abroad, Scott returned to Spokane Valley, selling real estate, and attending and graduating from Gonzaga school of Law. Scott left the area to serve as an attorney in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Core (JAG). In the Army Scott served soldiers deploying within the European theater, provided base commander support, and tried cases as both a prosecutor and defense counsel. In 2002, Scott returned to Spokane, joined his partner and father Jamie Wolff, establishing the firm Wolff and Hislop. In 2015, Scott became a founding partner in Wolff, Hislop, & Crockett, PLLC, a Business, Real Estate, and Estate Planning, transactional and litigation firm. In 2023, Scott transitioned from a Partner in the firm to Of Counsel. Through his new role, Scott is able to serve as General Counsel for his long-term client StanCraft, while still working and consulting with the attorneys at WHC to make sure any other long-term clients have their legal needs met.
