Dr. Cathy Hong has always been interested in biology & art. That's why she chose to pursue a career as a dentist: it's a perfect blend of the two subjects.
Dr. Hong graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Sydney in Australia in 2010. Since then, she has completed several continuing education courses, including focuses on veneers, implants, traditional orthodontics & Invisalign.
In her free time, Dr. Hong loves traveling with her husband & son.
Dr. Samantha Chin-You was inspired to be an orthodontist as a child after seeing her orthodontist work in Jamaica. When it came time to enter school, however, she found she had a greater passion for general dentistry due to the variety it offered.
Dr. Chin-You graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia, with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2018. She has also taken continuing education courses in nitrous oxide & moderate sedation & maintains membership in the Ontario Dental Association.
While she loves dogs, she doesn't feel she has time to properly care for them & has become a proud cat mom. She lives with her cat & husband, Matthew, & all three of them enjoy food & movies. Only she & her husband are fans of traveling, though, & the couple are crossing off destinations across North America.
Dr. Sungwoo "Paul" Hwang loves helping people. Combined with his interests in medicine & oral health, becoming a dentist was a no-brainer.
Dr. Hwang graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Semmelweis University in 2015. He's kept up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry with courses in Invisalign, implants & nitrous oxide sedation. In addition, he maintains membership in the Canadian Dental Association, the Royal College of Dentists Canada & the Ontario Dental Association.
When he's not in the office, he enjoys watching sports & playing golf.
