Dr. Rivero is a compassionate, experienced Dental Anesthesiologist who is skilled at caring for pediatric patients with a variety of healthcare needs.
Dr. Shylon Mathew is a New York native who was born and raised in Queens, NY. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree with thesis honors from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
She then went on to complete a General Practice Residency at New York Medical College in Westchester, New York. She continued her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York, where she served as chief resident. During her residency, she received extensive training in behavior management and treating children, adolescents, and patients with special needs as well as all forms of sedation.
