Alberto is a professional graphic designer and illustrator. He has developed his career as an art director in many places like Madrid, Milan or Shanghai. With many years of teaching experience and employed at Marbella Design Academy, Alberto is fulfilling his greatest passion as Head of our Graphic Design & Media Department at our Academy.

He is a great asset for the students to teach them how to display their projects in the best possible way.

Alexis Cruzado Pérez is a visual creative with an academic background in Fine Arts and Graphic Design. His 15 years of expertise covers the development of Branding and Marketing Comms projects, both in small Branding & Web Design studios and in large Spanish esports companies.
Alexis combines his work as a designer with his true passion: the arts as a recreational space for social activation. Since 2017 he has been collaborating as a Graphic, Web and Motion Designer with socio-cultural mediation collectives and with live music and visual collectives, with whom he also occasionally participates as a visualist in live shows.

Andrea is a Senior Lecturer for our Interior Architect Students as well as for our Graphic Design Students. Andrea guides his students with a focus on design as a combination of function and aesthetics with a user friendly experience.

Benedicte is in charge of the creative expression of all our marketing material and she is a master in working with PhotoShop.

Caterina is a WWF Young - Green ambassador and UN ambassador.

Helle Byrn, is herself a Danish designer. Her academic background hails from Danmarks Designskole, where she received a degree as an interior architect in 1976. Since 1986, Helle has fronted her own design company, Helle Byrn Design, holding international patents in 24 countries.
In 1993, Helle chose to emigrate to the warmer climate of Marbella, in Spain. Marbella at that time was undergoing the beginning of a major building boom, during which higher education was an unexplored concept. In this context, in the spring of 1995 Helle Byrn had the foresight and decided to open an international design school in the area and hasn't looked back since.

Helle Byrn's passion for design, creation and new ideas have brought her in many directions within design. After graduating in 1976 Danmarks Designskole in Copenhagen, Helle worked, designed and fulfilled projects within interior design, interior architecture, ship accommodation of luxury cruise ships, product design and furniture design. She is the holder of international patents in 24 countries.
Her biggest challenge has been the foundation and development of the Marbella Design Academy, which she founded in 1995, and the design and completion of our Academy building in 2008.

Jean Pierre is the Head of our Design Foundation Course. In the Academy, he's known as the problem solver among students when facing software crisis. he's also fluent in four languages helping around with foreign students.
Jean-Pierre is passionate about design and the thinking process associated with it. He is always looking for a creative outside the box solution.
