FAMILY DOCTORS OF BOULDER CITY - Key Persons
Cristina was raised in Boulder City and is now excited to be starting her career as a Physician Assistant here. She joins Family Doctors of Boulder City with years of experience in the medical field. She worked as a Respiratory Therapist before making the decision to go back to school and become a physician assistant. While attending school Cristina worked and trained at FDBC under Dr. Smith. We are excited that she is now joining us as a provider!
Devona has been apart of Family Doctors of Boulder City since 2013. She often covers for Dr. Chiang and fills in for the other practitioners when needed. If you call for an appointment for a Monday or Friday, she is often in the office and available to see patients. She has worked in an ER for many years and currently still does when she is not in the office.
A resident of Nevada since 1963, Dr. Herve Bezard received his degree from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine in 1985. His internship and residency were completed at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Bezard became licensed and certified in Family Practice Medicine in the state of Nevada in 1988. He was then invited to join Family Doctors of Boulder City, where he has pursued his commitment to high quality patient care. Dr. Bezard is trained and certified to perform both EGD's and colonoscopies.
Dr. Bezard maintains active enrollment in related professional organizations including the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Nevada Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Nevada State Medical Association, and the Clark County Medical Society. He is fluent in French and is always happy to accommodate French-speaking patients.
Dr. Jim Chiang completed his degree at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas in 2002 after completing an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Biology from Rice University, also in Houston. He served his family medicine residency at Northridge Hospital in Northridge, California.
Family Doctors of Boulder City was proud to welcome Dr. Chiang as its newest partner in August, 2005. His recent experience and education helps to keep our office current with the latest methods of healthcare.
He is board certified and licensed to practice medicine in the state of Nevada.
His professional memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Nevada Academy of Family Practice. He maintains privileges at Boulder City Hospital. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Dr. Warren L. Smith is one of the founders of Family Doctors of Boulder City, where he has remained in practice since 1980. He graduated from University of Arizona School of Medicine, after which he served his residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Smith is certified as a family physician by the American Board of Family Practice. He has been honored to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. Additionally, he has been honored as physician of the year for the state of Nevada.
Dr. Smith is trained to perform comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. He is also trained and certified to perform many in-office surgical procedures, including vasectomies. He is one of Nevada's foremost doctors in performing colonoscopies and EGDs.
Lauren Clark started her career working in Henderson, NV. She then moved to Arizona where she worked on a military base for 3 years. When Lauren decided to come back to Nevada we were lucky enough to have her join the Family Doctors of Boulder City family. She attended Southern Utah University for her undergraduate degree and University of St. Francis for her Masters degree. She has a wide range of skill sets and has worked in urgent, psychiatric, and family practice clinics.
