Mark Lowenthal - President

Mark Lowenthal is a senior human resource executive who specializes in benefits administration, and leading organizations to innovative data driven solutions. Mark manages our professional teams engaged to evaluate and restructure health, welfare and retirement benefit offerings for employers throughout the private and public sectors. He has successfully advised fortune 500 companies and large commercial employers, as well as universities, counties and public sector clients. Mark recently managed the analytical, actuarial and implementation teams for the California Education Coalition for Health Care Reform (CECHCR). This statewide effort to improve the quality and reduce the cost of healthcare to school districts throughout California resulted in a savings of more than $118,000,000 for nine school districts. In addition to more traditional benefit administration and actuarial project management consulting responsibilities, Mark has served in on-site interim positions at the VP and Human Resources Director level for a variety of clients. Mark serves as the managing director of LCA's sister company, Integrity Pharmaceutical Advisors, a consulting firm dedicated to clinical and financial pharmaceutical management. An award winning writer, Mark also assists clients in employee communications.

Thomas Cordeiro - Managing Director, President

Thomas Cordeiro has lead teams of consultants and auditors advising employers and health plans for over twenty years. He has specialized in managing the cost of drug benefits without compromising health, safety and quality of care. While serving as Director of Clinical Services at Medco Health he successfully launched the first national generic drug sampling program in the United States, and lead the first PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Manager) to become accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Medical Education. He has been a notable speaker for the Boston University School of Medicine "Geriatric Conference Series" and has lectured nationally on a variety of clinical topics. Thomas pioneered programs in "counter detailing" the pharmaceutical industry while working with Harvard Medical School's Division on Aging. He has also authored numerous accredited educational publications for physicians and pharmacists. Topics include disease management, optimal therapeutic outcomes, and generic drugs. Thomas is the President of LCA Health Care Advisors' sister company, Integrity Pharmaceutical Advisors, for clients who are only contracted for pharmaceutical consulting.
