A 1989 graduate of Texas A&M University, Dr. Steinam has practiced at MBAH since 1992. His approach to veterinary practice is to work closely with owners and their pets to find practical solutions to their medical and surgical concerns. Kitten, puppy, adult and senior wellness programs, complex internal medicine challenges, common and not-so-common skin diseases, behavior issues, and various surgical procedures all fall within his range of interests in the field of small animal veterinary medicine.
Dr. Steinam has also developed relationships with a number of top veterinary specialists over the years who he considers to be valuable resources to keep his knowledge on the forefront of medical and surgical care, and as a place for referral when that would offer the most benefit for his patients.
Dr. Steinam is proud of his profession, and truly enjoys being a veterinarian. He hopes that enjoyment shows in the care that he and all his staff provide to the pets and clients of Manhattan Beach Animal Hospital.
A 1990 UC-Davis graduate, Dr. Kagan is a dedicated veterinarian and clinician, who's greatest strengths lie in her strong advocacy for every pet, along with an encyclopedic knowledge of pet diseases and their risks and treatments.
Since starting at Manhattan Beach Animal Hospital in 2005 as a relief veterinarian, Dr. Kagan has been involved in some of the hardest cases presented to our practice. She has achieved great success in deducing the cause and the treatment needed to send her beloved patients onto the road towards recovery.
