From waiting tables to becoming an award-winning real estate broker, Amanda Marcum has built her successful career from the ground up. Mostly sugar and a little spice, Amanda is focused on serving others while tenaciously standing up for her clients. After graduating from the University of Florida with a BA, Amanda moved to Richmond, KY, to live with her only grandparent Granny Connie. It was then that the seed of real estate was planted. Granny Connie was the managing broker/owner of Prudential Don Foster Realtors and showed Amanda first-hand the value of community involvement in the real estate business. Still waiting tables, Amanda took the leap and got her real estate license. While she learned from the best, her optimism and dedication are what set her apart immediately, and after selling 12 houses in one year, it was apparent that this was just the beginning.
Being in real estate for 16 years, Amanda has multiple awards and a head-spinning number of 5-star reviews. Her competitiveness and expert knowledge of the industry, coupled with her contagious smile and bright personality, make her one of the most sought-after real estate brokers/owners in Richmond. Amanda's inner circle consists of her husband Jack Marcum, two step-children, and five pets. Brooks Jackson, a proud native of Danville, Kentucky, has crafted a captivating narrative of dedication, education, and family throughout her life. Her formative years unfolded in the picturesque town of Danville, where she graduated from Boyle County High School.
Fueling her passion for knowledge, Brooks pursued higher education at both the University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky University. In 2010, she embraced a new chapter by obtaining her real estate license, marking the inception of her illustrious career in the real estate industry.
For almost eight years, Brooks has served as the Operations Manager for the MARCUMsold Team, a testament to her expertise and leadership within the real estate domain. Her role showcases a wealth of experience and a profound understanding of the intricacies of the industry.
Amidst her professional journey, Brooks found steadfast companionship in her college sweetheart, Chris, a dedicated SBA Lender for County Bank. Their enduring relationship, which commenced in 1998, stands as a beacon of commitment and mutual support.
Together, Brooks and Chris revel in the joys of parenthood, raising four sons who are carving distinctive paths in life. The eldest, Parker Jackson, serves in the U.S. Army, exemplifying dedication and honor. Recent Bellarmine University graduate Logan contributes his skills to the Air National Guard. Colins, currently pursuing education and athletics at Bellarmine University, adds to the family's legacy. Meanwhile, high school junior Tanner is making strides at Model Lab, shaping his aspirations.
Chelsea moved to Madison County in the summer of 2015 to pursue her degree in Public Health, she graduated in 2017 with a Bachelors in Health Promotion/Public Health. She is a transplant from Simpsonville, Ky coming from a very small town she loved the feel of Richmond and decided to plant her roots here. She has worked in many different fields learning as much about the community as possible, the one thing that has stayed the same throughout her venture is her love of people and helping anyone she can. She took the leap into real estate after working in the mortgage business for a few years, with a background in marketing and administration she is combing all of her forces to learn the business from the ground up.
Kelli Hunt grew up on a small farm in Wisconsin. From an early age, she knew that she wanted to pursue a career that exhibited her passion for design and creativity. After college she traveled and toyed with many different life and career decisions before embarking on a side venture with her husband to begin buying and remodeling homes to flip and sell. Around this time, she and her husband decided to start a family and they established a new home in Madison County, Kentucky. She has proudly called Richmond home for the past seven years. She enjoys quality time with her husband Jon, (a local Lieutenant Fireman) and influencing her children to take part in their community. With both children now reaching school age, Kelli has decided to reallocate all of her knowledge of renovating and marketing homes to help #TeamMarcumSold reach it highest potential.
