MANDOLIN ACADEMY

Mimmie Grennäs started playing music by Vivaldi on her recorder as a child and she loves music from the Baroque and Renaissance. She studied as a teenager at the music high school in Jönköping. Furthermore, she studied recorder and ensemble playing at Lunnevad folk high school in Östergötland, Sweden with the great recorder master Eric Humble. Mimmie then entered the Ingesund Conservatory of Music, Arvika. After graduating, she began teaching recorder at the Cultural School in Linköping. Mimmie Grennäs is a skilled recorder virtuoso and she is frequently engaged as a soloist with various orchestras, ensembles and she is a permanent member of the ensembles Barokoko and Camerata Mandolino Classico and gives concerts around Sweden, and most recently in Venice, Italy... The Italian virtuoso young piano player Maxine Rizzotto, pianist and harpsichordist as well rehearser for, among other things, a number of opera singers from La Scala Opera and the conservatory in Milan, is once again..
