Dr. Najjar obtained his Doctoral of Dental Medicine Degree from Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he received awards for ‘Excellence in Orthodontics' and ‘Excellence in Restorative Dentistry'. Dr. Najjar's fascination with the biomechanics of Orthodontics and the magic of creating beautiful smiles moved him to pursue an Advanced Education in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics residency at the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in New York.
During his residency, Dr. Najjar was involved in a number of research projects, and has publications i the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AJODO) and the Journal if Clinical Orthodontics (JCO). In 2011, Dr. Najjar was granted the ‘Charles Schultz' Award at the 111th annual American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) meeting for his research on radiation doses from Cone-beam CT X-rays, and has given talks on the subject at multiple dental meetings.
Dr. Najjar is certified and has valuable experience treating patients using Incognito lingual braces, Invisalign, TADs (mini-implants), Orthognathic Surgical cases, and various other orthodontics techniques. Dr. Najjar also has experience working within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for cleft palate and syndromic patients. Dr. Najjar is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, and attends annual meetings and study groups to keep abreast on new technologies and contemporary orthodontic treatment modalities.
Dr. Najjar's acute attention to detail in esthetics shined through when he was faced with the challenge of patients wanting to temporarily remove their braces mid-treatment due to a special upcoming occasion, such as a sweet sixteen party or a wedding. Realizing the importance of this demand to esthetically drive patients, Dr. Najjar devised a method to temporarily remove braces for these special occasions, and put them back on without losing the time in treatment.
When he's not working, Dr. Najjar enjoys playing soccer and tennis, plays the guitar in his spare time, and loves to travel.

Dr. Lu is dedicated to changing the lives of her patients by helping them achieve a new smile and providing the highest quality of care. She believes in forming trusting, long-term relationships with her patients and her highest priority is creating customized, beautiful smiles that last a lifetime.
Dr. Lu graduated of the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) School of Dentistry with a Certificate in Orthodontics. She loves interacting with and getting to know her patients throughout the treatment process. Dr. Lu's goal is to always help her patients feel comfortable and informed when making decisions about their oral and dental health, which is one of the many reasons she stays up to date with the newest technologies and latest techniques in orthodontics.
Originally from Vancouver Canada and Milford, Connecticut, Dr. Lu now resides and works at our offices in the Chicago, Illinois area. In her free time, Dr. Lu enjoys serving at Church, trying new restaurants and recipes, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and started Chinese traditional dancing when she was only 5 years old!
Dr. Anthony Hajjar's care philosophy is to provide evidence-based dentistry to positively change people's lives. He believes in establishing a good rapport with his patients through open communication and trust. Dr. Hajjar listens to his patients' oral health concerns and builds a dental plan that fits their unique needs, which results in excellent patient outcomes.
Dr. Hajjar has completed various smile makeovers, including full-mouth restorations, oral surgery, dental implant procedures, and removable dentures. He holds a special interest and advanced training in denture and dental implant restorations, crowns, bridges, and custom-made oral appliances. As a Prosthodontist, he stays abreast of all the latest trends in dental prostheses and brings those valuable skills to FIRST FAMILY DENTAL. Enhancing his skills through education and professional dental memberships is a priority for Dr. Hajjar, and he feels very fortunate to be able to continue to perfect his art.

Dr. Kusnoto is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Illinois Society of Orthodontists, Midwestern Society of Orthodontists, Chicago Dental Society, and American Dental Association.
Dr. Budi Kusnoto obtained his master's degree in oral sciences with a specialty certificate in orthodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 1998. He completed his fellowship at the UIC Craniofacial Center in 1999 and also has a degree in computer science.
Dr. Emily Williams obtained her dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is a dual specialist with a certificate and advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry from Lurie Children's Hospital and a certificate in Orthodontics and masters degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Williams stays current with new procedures in dentistry and orthodontics through continuing education courses and by holding teaching positions in the fields of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Orthodontist VIEW PROFILE Dr. Lina Alsibaie graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and completed her residency at the University of Iowa Dental School. Recently, she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Ginu Dahiya was born in India, raised in Canada, and studied in the U.S. She obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto, after which she attended Case Western Reserve University where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2013. Dr. Dahiya then moved to Chicago where she completed her specialty studies in Orthodontics as well as a Masters of Science. Dr. Dahiya loves the field of orthodontics and appreciates the fact that it allows her to combine her artistic skills with her scientific knowledge in order to spread happiness one smile at a time.
When she's not working, Dr. Dahiya is an avid runner who hopes to run a marathon in the near future. She enjoys living a healthy lifestyle and actively encourages this in her patients as well. Dr. Dahiya loves to attend orthodontic seminars and meetings in order to stay up to date on developments in the field of orthodontics and dentistry, and considers herself a lifelong learner.
Dr. Dahiya is fluent in English and Hindi and was a Charlie Schulz Scholar Award Recipient who presented her research on unilateral extractions in Class II subdivision malocclusions at the national AAO conference in 2016. Prior to that she had earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universidad del Valle, Cali-Colombia and a Master of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University where she graduated summa cum laude.
Dr. Cardona's dedication to her profession has led her to be inducted to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, National Dental Honor Society, a designation reserved for dentists who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and high clinical skills during their training. She also is the recipient of multiple recognitions, such as the Outstanding Achievement Award of the Academy of Operative Dentistry.

Dr. Saleh Al-Kharsa obtained his dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where he immersed himself in all fields of dentistry. Fascinated with facial proportion and symmetry, he continued on to specialize in orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 2016 he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
To provide the best and most up-to-date treatment for his patients, Dr. Al-Kharsa realizes that his profession takes a special dedication to life-long learning. He currently holds a part-time faculty position at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he enjoys sharing his knowledge with his students as well as staying on the cutting edge of all emerging techniques and technologies in his profession.
Dr. Al-Kharsa employs multiple techniques and appliances to suit his patient's needs from conventional metal braces to clear aligner treatment (Invisalign).
